Mashups | DOSVEC – Rain Away

DOSVEC mixed it up a little this week. He went back to a dubstep mashup, but with a different, wobblier vibe. Being an old Red Hot Chili Peppers fan, I love the intro of this track, Adele’s voice sounds incredible over that guitar. Once the wobbles dropped I was slightly taken away, for the fact that I would have never thought to put wobbles with Adele’s voice, nor would I have though it would work as well as it does. DOSVEC undoubtedly with another top notch mashup BANGER!

Eddy B and Tim G at it again. These guys just dropped this one on their Facebook page and it’s too good. Eddy provides a real solid flow to the always catchy and well produced Tim G beat. These guys are fresh off their latest mixtape, Insomniac Dreams, and although no word of a new mixtape, expect some new songs to drop, like this one.

Skeleton EP is definitely the exact prescribed dosage of reality that hip hop is currently in need of, no doubt. Terence Ryan is solely responsible for all songs written, recorded, produced, and engineered on this EP. It’s safe to say he deserves full credit for this entire project, that I truly admire. Rarely do you see artists engaging in all aspects of their craft aside from a scarce few like J. Cole and Kanye. For that reason Skeleton should remain memorably fresh for quite a while, not to mention Terence Ryan’s worth pondering lyricism. Be sure to show support and follow him on Twitter, and like his Facebook. Also, check his new video for Alan’s Right if you haven’t already.

So when I posted that Dylan Owen EP I was talking about emotion through lyrics and how it makes a song so much more meaningful and relatable. Here we have an Upper West song that is exactly like that. Known for their upbeat jams, Jesse and Doug decide to switch it up on us and spit some truth.
