Cuey dropped his most recent single, “All The Way”, two days back, only to be accompanied by a video which dropped just yesterday. As the third release, I’d presume this is the last single off his upcoming mixtape, Can’t Wait, due out by September’s end I believe. The song, produced by Cuey’s main man, CJ Luzi along with Manicanparty, who produced the majority of the mixtape, is on point as always. The video was directed by Adam Ross of Visual High Life, who has done the majority of Cuey’s visual work in the past. Cuey’s clearly ready to break out of his cage and deliver a project that will finally earn him the recognition he deserves. #CantWait

OnCue hit us with the visuals to his hit “It Usually Goes”. I may be biased but it seems as though my earbuds have been partial to up and coming college artists as of late (see: the Deans List Mixtape). This project is just another example of how artists are pushing the bars these days. It’s visuals like the ones above that connect the fan with the artist and a much more intimate fashion. Sure, they’re simple but they still do the trick. Download the track below – the production is ill props to CJ Luzi.
