Signed to one of the edgiest labels if modern electronic music, Chris Avantgarde released “All Of The Lights” on Insomniac Records; and it seems to be match made in heaven.
Drums here are undeniably refreshing, causing the mind to be more open to enjoying the next moments that follow – which totally satisfy – conveying this blend of house, indie and pop.
Chris Avantgarde has had close interactions with the likes of Hannah Wants, Anna Lunoe, Chocolate Puma, Crookers, Claude von Stroke and more. Regarding past releases, Chris Avantgarde released on Dirtybird Records. He brings an all-in-one chill experience that touches more than he is getting credit for currently, I believe this will change in the next several months.

Chris Avantgarde inaugurates his newly formed label the proper way with an exceptionally strong first release. Produced by the founder himself, “Fuel” is a powerful, gritty, highly energetic track and probably his best to date. It is also one of the most well produced tracks I have heard in a while. Chris has a unique sound and his label is also unique, because all of their releases are free of charge. Never one to settle on generic, Chris Avantgarde and his new label are sure to be among those to watch going forward.

Progressive House | Chris Avantgarde feat. Joel Edwards – Rise Up

Next up on Chris Avantgarde’s series of free releases is “Rise Up”, a vocal progressive house song with Joel Edwards. Each of the tracks he has given away so far has been in a different style as the previous, but for this one he is giving us an older song he made back at his old studio in Germany. It has the same feel good sound as his previous original “Colours” and just may be his best track yet.

Chris Avantgarde is a relatively unknown German producer who, aside from the mysterious release on Size that has yet to come to fruition, has largely flown under the radar. Although his releases have been few and far between, he has been busy producing and is now providing us with a constant stream of tracks. “Colours” and “Discovery” are his first two songs he has given away. “Colours” is a typical progressive track lead by a big melody and “Discovery” is his take on electro house and the current festival sound. The drop in “Discovery” is not the most inspired but the breakdown in it is great.

Ah finally, this remix will see the light of day and an official release. It has been done and approved for close to a year now, but with all of the incredible songs that Size Records has in its stores, it never got to be released. The duo give the track a big-room boost of energy, reviving it for the later months of 2013. Look for this September 16th. This is only the beginning of Dimitri Vangelis & Wyman on Size Records, with “Rebel” set for release at some point and possibly other tracks as well. Coming up for Size, there is a Chris Avantgarde track slated for release in October and plenty more.
