Bass | Chime And Au5 Deliver Highly Anticipated Color Bass Single, ‘The Other Side’

Posted by on January 23, 2023

British producer Chime, recently making waves with his hit single “Bring Me Back,” has teamed up with Au5 to release a new track, “The Other Side”, on Monstercat. The anticipation for this single has been high as the duo went on the road for a nationwide tour, also titled “The Other Side”, during the Spring of last year. This single showcases Chime and Au5’s unique styles, blending lush melodies and outside-the-box sound design for a cohesive and enjoyable track that is best experienced live.

Embracing Chime’s signature style of color bass, “The Other Side” is just one of the artist’s many accomplishments. Putting out electrifying anthems on the likes of Subsidia, Ophelia, and Circus, Chime has also founded his own successful label. Known as Rushdown, this imprint has helped artists, such as Sharks, Ace Aura, and Papa Khan, take their careers to the next level. Additionally, Chime has received support from Excision, Virtual Riot, Flux Pavillion, and Doctor P, to name a few.

Chime has an extremely strong following, proven by his millions of streams and past successful tours. This year promises to be even more monumental for Chime, with fans eagerly awaiting announcements and new music.

Bass | Chime Announces Tour And Heavy Hitting Single Entitled “WhirlWind”

Solo producer Chime may look young, but the artist who falls between the world of filthy bass and video game music has more than enough fanbase and experience under his belt, and many in the industry are taking notice.

Chime has clearly achieved enough clout to embark on the Whirlwind Tour – and it’s not the first long-term tour he has embarked on either – on top of this, he’s release quite a heavy bass track under the same name for fans to latch on to.

A part of what separates Chime from others is his dedication to fans and enabling them ample opportunity to see what his live shows are about, Facebook live streams of him throwing down on CDJs are far from an odd aspect of the Chime Experience.

Dubstep | Chime Releases Bass-Heavy Single “Starstorm”

The UK’s own Chime continues to churn out melodic bangers like it is no one’s business. It is anyone’s guess how he does it, but this solo DJ is well informed about the secret sauce needed to not only produce tracks fast, but how to make great ones that his audience go rabid for. With “Starstorm”, Chime goes a bit more experimental, working more with sustained, softer synths and less of the quick cuts, hooks, and catchy moments.

With so many songs under his belt, it’s no surprise Chime has over 25K fans across socials and takes pleasure in hanging out with them whenever he can. Chime will be playing shows later in 2017 and, of course, making new music.

Dubstep | Chime Follows Up Collaberation Hit “What The Funk” With “Wait For Me”

Last time, Chime collaborated with some of the hottest names in the melodic bass game with “What The Funk”, a single that capitalizes on the essence of all three artists, Chime, Brig, and Rob Gasser. With “Wait For Me,” Chime works alone, showcasing his rager personality mixed with melodic synth work. The result is classic Chime that we have grown to love mixed with a bit of an updated, 2017 sound.

Chime has been all over the place these past few years, garnering upwards of 800K plays across streaming channels during that time. Chime has been producing since 2011 and has been a part of label families that include Firepower Records, Kinphonic, Most Addictive Records, NoCopyrightSounds and more.
