Chi Duly’s girlfriend told him to remix Psy’s “Gangnam Style”, so he compromised and made a mashup because “it’s all about compromises.” Bringing the South Korean hit into the eighties, Duly mashes up the song with Technotronic’s “Pump Up The Jam”. Pro-Tip: This is exactly how you should send a submission e-mail. Chi-Duly is so huge, at this point whenever he e-mails me I have to remain calm and not fan him too hard. Building on the success of his previous “Balloons of Haus” project personally co-signed by the Weeknd, Chi Duly drops another mashup that will have me shamelessly fist-pumping like guido trash on a Saturday night.

If there are two bastions of political and artistic purity in the world, Silver Medallion says they must be Flo-Rida and Will.I.Am. In his latest cover, he channels them both of them with all their depth into his ode to autotune rap and pop house purity. The accompanying music video features some lost footage from the last two years of Silver Medallion shows, including some from before we lost the other half of Silver Medallion, Carnegie, in a car crash in 2011. With some production from Chi Duly with bits of the original and Silver Medallion’s unique vocals, this latest cover is not one to skip over. Coming off his The Weeknd cosigned Balloons of Haus project, Chi Duly lends his hands at remaking Shadows on Stars’ “Punk Kids”. In it, Chi Duly takes the alternative hit and makes it dance-friendly just as he did with The Weeknd’s tracks. Shadows on Stars’ debut album drops tomorrow, so be on the lookout for that.
Also, in case you missed, Chi Duly recently combined Washed Out and Biggie. Do I need to say anymore?

I posted Chi Duly’s remix of The Weeknd’s “D.D.” just a short while ago and today he dropped the complete remix project. The album features remixes from Chi Duly spanning from The Weeknd’s three mixtapes and there isn’t a bad one featured on it. Even The Weeknd got up on it and posted it on their Tumblr.
