Electro-House | Stafford Brothers & M35 – Carne Asada

Stafford Brothers & M35 - Carne Asada

You probably know the Cash Money records signed Stafford Brothers by now and have heard of M35 for their tunes “Revolution 909” and “Go!” alongside MAKJ. Short and to the point, this tune wastes no time getting right the gritty, hard-hitting electro house that M35 has made his mark with. They switch things up a little, moving away from the bass line used in his last two tunes, but still keeping the power found in those. This is a big collab from the three LA based producers.

Hip-Hop, Videos | Caskey – Be Humble (Freestyle) [Video]

Recent Cash Money Records signee, Caskey, drops an acapella freestyle “Be Humble” keeping his raw lyrics at the forefront.  Caskey paints a colorful picture, blending into the “Paint The Trail” fence art you see as the backdrop in this video.  Does anyone else feel that Caskey is too lyrically intellectual to be signed to Cash Money?  Do you see him going mainstream under his new label?  Take a listen to the teased single at the end of this video and tell me this kid isn’t going to have a HUGE year.  I’d love to hear him rip an old Mannie Fresh beat, wouldn’t you?

Mashups | JurisDoc – Stuntin Like YOU Daddy

Posted by on October 18, 2011

With my mashup moniker on, I am taking a break from straight house music to present you with my newest combination. In this one, I combine Gold Panda’s original version of “You” with the always classic vocals of “Stuntin Like My Daddy” from Lil Wayne and Birdman. Not quite the banger you might be used to, this is a more smooth listening and gentle take. Never fear though, the hard hitting verses of Cash Money’s finest mesh perfectly with the Brit’s groovy beats. Enjoy!

Hip-Hop | Lil Wayne ft. Drake- Gonorrehea

Are we that narrow minded that we’ve run out of creative song titles now? After you’ve put out “Right Above It”, a hit song that’s reached the top of the iTunes charts? Why would Drake want to put his name on a song that’s about sexual transmitted diseases? Just when I thought Drake was above the general foolishness that is Cash Money, he goes and does this. Yeah I said it, Cash Money is comprised of fools. I guess I should have seen it coming when Drake said, “I’m easily influenced by the people I’m around”. Fresh New Tracks, a place where I always call it like I see it.
