The first day of fall can always be bitter sweet. You know Summer is over, you look back on all the memories, though the holidays are coming, so you have something to look forward to. This makes for a great intro for the track I’m about to feature by Campsite Dream “Smooth Operator.” Many of you might have heard the record in your parent’s car on the radio on your way to school, or getting picked up – that lite FM channel was always my mom’s go to. I’m on my fifth listen to Campsite Dream’s latest release “Try Again,” and every listen is just as refreshing as the last. I’m a sucker for melody, and if I can sing along and bop my head to it, the better. I’ll be the first to admit, I’ve been skeptical of covers lately, as it seems that everyone is doing, old music, new music, no track is safe of getting the chill cover treatment, though I must say Campsite Dream have done it as clean as it gets, and if you check their Spotify numbers, it’s safe to say, they’ve been winning too.
