Dubstep | R Rated #24

Posted by on April 11, 2012

A couple sick previews to kick off R this week. First is a clip of Tomba’s ‘You and Me,’ off of his upcoming EP, ‘Time To Slam.’ This track is pretty grimy, been looking forward to some new original Tomba.  The ‘Time To Slam’ EP drops April 30th. This next preview is quite the treat, and I honestly will be waiting very impatiently for its release. The intro is melodic and simple, which is a great start to any track. All of a sudden the pace changes, and your left watching this beat warp into a filthy drop. Releases April 30th.

With the release of Datsik’s ‘Vitamin D,’ means the conclusion of the ‘Full Blown’ contest. Taking the win with an epic submission is The Firm. It is some nasty Drumstep with one crazy kick off to the drop. Coming in second place but still worth mentioning is Rekoil’s remix. He took a slower pace with his remix, but still provided something filthy for everyone. My advice, pick one to download or you will get sick of both too fast.

When I saw what track was remixed, I smacked my palm to my forehead in a sense of shame. Well now I’m embarrassed because this is not only bearable, but actually really sick. Give it a chance, it wont disappoint.

Mixing in something different for R. It is still the same R Rated material, but taken to a more bass packed orgasm. Damn sluts.

Dubstep | Culprate & Deadpool

Posted by on March 1, 2012

Culprate’s Tentacle VIP and Deadpool’s remix of Prepare To Die are best described as Fire and Ice; polar opposites of each other. Culprate’s VIP is a nice melodic dubstep work of art. The intro builds up with a nice piano sounding synth into an almost jazz/blues sounding drop where the snares and drums pick up the pace. A true melodic masterpiece from Culprate. Now we move to the other side of the spectrum, which in this case is Deadpool’s remix of Bare Noize’s Prepare To Die. The best way to describe this track is to “Insert UKF filth comment here”. Caution: the drop will melt your subs.

Dubstep, Electro, Mashups | Felguk, Sultan & Ned Sheppard, Bare Noize, Dimitri Vangelis

The previously posted version of this song is a radio rip released by Nero (you can tell by the way it cuts in and the quality), so if you want a better version of the song, bookmark this and have your neighbors learn the words. I will be putting up a preview or high quality rip of some upcoming banger in all of my posts from now on to keep you all ahead of the game. Felguk created this absolutely nasty mashup with songs by him, Skrillex and Dada Life and it is a heavy banger. This is a MUST DL.

Here are two remixes of Lady Gaga’s The Edge of Glory. Sultan and Ned Sheppard take the beat to a whole another level, while keeping just enough vocals for those who like them. The second remix is a dubstep remix that drops a great dubstep beat over the vocals and makes it all flow very nicely. Also Porter Robinson did a solid remix.

In case you didn’t enough progressive house bombs today, here is another one with some great vocals, piano work and bass that creates a smooth summer jam to kick back to.

Dubstep, Electro, House, Videos | Chrizz Luvly & “What A Feeling” Remixes | ELECTRO

SweetE’s been pretty busy lately. It’s that New York City lifestyle that creeps up on you sometimes. Since I feel as if I’ve been neglecting FNT, I’ve finally set aside some down time to write up a longer post.

I recently came across this track, and after being played on repeat for the past few days, I felt the need to post it. It is pure fire. If its seductive lyrics and hot vocals don’t “perk” your ears up, there’s clearly something wrong with you. “Cause I like that sound of that beep, beep, boom…..

I posted that Alex Guadino/Kelly Rowland banger, “What A Feeling,” yesterday. If you didn’t download it, you can do so by heading to my post here. Remixes of the track have most obviously popped up. The I’m Still In Love remix, posted below, is one of those tracks made for festival madness. Download it, jam out and then download the Nicky Romero remix, as well.

Oh, and since I can’t POSSIBLY leave my dubstep fiends without their daily dose of head splicing bass–this track is for you. Pigeon went nuts on this Bare Noize remix. The “whomps” hit in all the right places.

For those of you who crave Ellie Goulding remixes, this Bare Noize track will blow you away. The duo’s full blown assault on Tinie Tempah & Elli Goulding’s “Wonderman” has transformed this already-chart-topping track into an absolute banger.

I’m a huge fan of Chase & Status. Their tracks’ interesting vocals consistently fuel my desire for more. Make sure to check out Trolley Snatcha’s remix of Chase & Status’s “Blind Faith,” below (this one hits hard).

Gemini never ceases to impress me. Warning: the vocals in “Rise and Fall” will seem to grow in your brain like a tumor.

In light of Egypt’s recent turmoil, Bassnectar released his “Walk like an Egyptian” track. Although Bassnectar produced the track in 2003, he didn’t release it until now. This one’s a lot chiller than most of his other stuff. More of a drum and bass feel.
