Lush & Simon collaborated with Rico & Miella to release their first music video, an original mix “Drag Me To The Ground” with Armada Music and Zouk Recordings. I’ve been listening to the track on repeat ever since it was sent to me, Miella’s vocals are hypnotic, and the overall vibe of the record is that slow motion feel you get when you’re at a festival, you’ve been dancing all day, the sun’ setting, and you get that out of body experience. BT - Skylarking (ilan Bluestone Remix)BT is known for his cinematic, orchestral arrangements that stem from not only his scoring of movies, or his live “laptop symphonies”, or how he writes out songs freehand on paper, like an old-fashioned classical composer, but also how he molds melodies and harmonies over long periods of time.

BT recruits two of Anjunabeats‘ finest over to fellow trance label, Armada Music to give him two remixes for his recent single “Skylarking” off of his upcoming artist album “A Song Across Wires“, set for release August 16th. ilan Bluestone has been a name on the rise with singles like “Sinai” and “Capetown” both receiving high praise, while his upcoming single with Jerome Isma-Ae “Under My Skin” has already received support from the rank and file top trance DJs. ilan Bluestone does not mess with the winning formula presented by BT, simply adding his own melodic charm to the track with a churning low-end and a bigger melody that makes this remix more suitable for the live arena, having been played out by the likes of Armin, Tiesto and more. You can also catch the Maor Levi remix on the package, which goes for a more gritty electro feel, but the ilan Bluestone remix really stands out.

Another EDM artist taking an indie song and making it good, I can live with that. You are all aware of Dillon Francis’s Beautician, a must download back in April. Here he comes back with version number two with a different feel, but still an amazing song nonetheless. It is much more chill with less dubstep and more along the lines of his moombahton work, but it is still a great song. It is on the maddecent compilation out today on beatport and since Dillon Francis is such a boss support the man.

Since I didn’t give you guys a download up there I feel bad so here are house tunes to make you feel better. Here is Michael Woods’ latest single Bullet. It is a song with some great synth work with wonderfully crafted builds and drops throughout.

This John Dahlback and Henrik B song is a part of EDX’s No Xcuses compilation on Armada Music. It is a great CD with a lot of quality songs so I would recommend checking it out, but out of the new tracks, this is one of the best. The piano work is phenomenal to create a more relaxed song that just rolls from drop to drop.
