I’ll start off by saying the song Timeflies teases us with in this tour announcement video sounds like crack on crack on crack. Recently sharing the news that they will be back on the road (yes, already), Timeflies will be joined by Chiddy Bang along with ________(undisclosed special guests) on a nationwide tour kicking off on Octover 9th in Boston. With the tour announcement also came the expected announcement that Timeflies sophomore LP, Warning Sings, is also en route for a fall delivery. Swoon ladies (and gents), swoon. The trailer for EDC New York has been released. With Miami behind us, festival season inches closer with each passing week as the temperatures tease up on the thermometer. Check out the trailer for this year featuring footage from the inaugural event last year to get you ready for it on May 17th & 18th at Citi Field. There is to be a special announcement tomorrow, so stay tuned for that. Will it be the first phase of the lineup? We hope so, it is about time for some details. Ready for Miami yet? Well here is the trailer for the complete first lineup announcement after Avicii leaked the original about a week ago. This announcement comes with a few new additions in Rudimental, Disclosure, Major Lazer and Modestep, rounding out what should be an excellent balance of all genres and live performances. The trailer uses “Everyday” so that means that they have to get the melodic master, right…. right? Also something I failed to inlcude last time was that ASOT leaked its ridiculous lineup of Above & Beyond, Armin van Buuren, ATB, Cosmic Gate, Dash Berlin, Ferry Corsten, Markus Schulz, Norin & Rad, Paul van Dyk, Tritonal, W&W, which makes you wonder, when do you ever leave that tent? Pierce is having a massive start to the year with his single “Who Wants Spaghetti” charting well on Beatport and getting support by many in the industry, being added to Friday of Ultra Music Festival in the phase two announcement, as well as this fantastic remix of Felix Cartal’s “Domo” out on Dim Mak Records. The build is great with a smooth piano melody that leads into a break comprised of a fast bass line with a variety of percussive elements and rising synths. IF you are going to be at UMF do not miss Pierce and do not miss this remix.

The Dean’s List released this video for “The Dream” off their 2011 mixtape, The Drive-In, earlier this week. Setting scene on the road and sharing some footage from their recent journey on tour, Sonny takes it into the vacant wilderness to recite these powerful lyrics. FTS creative have been making some very impressive videos lately and are honestly giving Rex Arrow a run for his money. The Dean’s List have been releasing visuals for new tracks as well as singles off The Drive-In for several months now, but expect an announcement for their next project, Generation X, coming very soon.
