I recently caught up with Huey Mack in Minneapolis while he was doing a show with Mike Stud. I came up with a list of random questions to throw at him to see what kind of responses I would get in return. This was only a couple days before the release of his new mixtape A Boy Named Hue, which was released on 4/23.If you still haven’t heard the tape, I highly recommend it. Huey Mack drops visuals for his recent release “About Us” off A Boy Named Hue, which drops on Monday 4/23. This was already a dope song and the visuals definitely make it even better. Huey is an artist who I’ve been listening to a lot lately. He’s been dropping new music consistently, while still keeping the material quality. I have high hopes for this mixtape release based not the couple tracks that have been released thus far. If you haven’t seen the artwork for the mixtape you can catch that after the jump!

Huey Mack just let go the last single he will be dropping before he releases his upcoming project, A Boy Named Hue. Huey said this is his favorite track thats he’s recorded thus far. Its definitely dope and he’s been growing so much as an artist. I’ve definitely been digging a lot of the music he has been dropping over these past months. Eager to see what the future will bring, be sure to grab the rest of the project when it drops on April 23rd!

Huey Mack is back with another fresh release to get everyone fired up for his next project, A Boy Named Hue. It drops on April 23rd and this isn’t one of the songs that will be included. If you missed Huey’s recent releases such as “Good Night” and “Nothing Back” featuring Young Scolla & Mike Stud check those out. Oh not to mention Huey’s “Looking At The Sky” video has been holding the #2 spot strong on mtvU, peep it after the jump!

This past week has been a big one for Huey Mack. From getting his latest video for “Looking At The Sky” played on MTV to being verified on his Twitter account, he’s clearly making himself known. The track will be featured on Huey’s upcoming project, A Boy Named Hue which drops April 23rd! This Sims Beats heater has a really dope sound to it and Huey’s hook is so catchy, it will have you singing along in no-time. Young Scolla and Mike Stud join in to make this track complete. Definitely going to throw this one in my summer jams playlist. Windows down, speakers up on this! It’s something you’ve gotta share.
