If you’re not a fan of Wheathin already, allow me to convert you. Remember the Elohim track “Sensations” that dropped about a month ago? Well he just released a remix of it, and it’s even catchier than the original.
He leaves the verse relatively untouched, allowing Elohim’s vocals to carry you through the musical backdrop. With rhythmic hand claps and an epic synth-laden drop, this track is both chilled and dance-worthy. The 17-year-old producer has been crafting an impressive array of tracks lately, including remixes of Louis The Child, Ty Dolla $ign, and a collaborative remix with Next Wave artist Bearson.
It seems his forte is taking unexpected indie and pop tracks and painting them with his metaphoric electronic brush. On this one, he turns Elohim’s mysterious and sensual release and turns it into a huge, festival ready banger. No Funks Given is back with their first remix. The California duo put out their take on Tony Sour’s “Sour Patch Bounce” for free today, which is good because you’re going to want it. They turn things up with their eclectic sound that moves between electro and breakbeat. With this remix they bring a bit more of a traditional style, but the duo’s wacky sentiments do seep through, giving the track a fun edge to it. As the lyrics state, “It’s a party in the house,” and that party has started thanks to No Funks Given. In talking with them about this remix, they stated they have some more remixes coming soon, but first you can expect some more original material. For now, enjoy their free remix!

Swiss DJ/producer EDX has already been having a pretty stellar year. With his recently wrapped up No Xcuses vs. Enormous Tunes Bus Tour, a standout show at SET for Miami Music Week, and a number of nominations for this year’s EMPO awards, the gifted producer is ready to bring his talents to fans across the world.
EDX has recently announced his return to Ibiza this summer to bring a 10-week string of exhilarating No Xcuses parties to the island’s late night crowds. Set to perform at the infamous Privilege Ibiza club, EDX will be delivering awe-inspiring sets of his heart-thumping melodic house tunes and expert club cuts, adding up to a not-to-miss spectacle from this dance music icon.
Joining him will be his Helvetic Nerds label mate Nora En Pure, a deep house luminary that has been dominating the European circuit as of late. The series will kick off on Monday, June 27th, and is sure to amount to be one of the greater list of shows on the isle this summer.

For fans of Blade, Black Tiger Sex Machine’s new music video for “NUMBERS” may conjure up some nostalgia. The reason for that is because this sci-fi music video is a reinterpretation of the opening scene of the 1998 Marvel film, although they cut out the blood spurting from the ceiling. BTSM have taken that scene and made it their own, in their own universe that they have been building with their label Kannibalen Records. The “NUMBERS” video pays homage to not only blade, but warehouse style raves that put dance music on the map, as well as a little hat tip to Star Wars by way of their own unique lightsaber.
