Chill, House | Mosimann’s ‘The Gifted One” Takes Lyric Videos To The Next Level
Posted by VMan on June 17, 2016
Mosimann caught me off guard when I stumbled upon his lyric video for “The Gifted One”. He comes from France and has built his career within the city and in surrounding areas. One element I found particularly exciting was the sheer amount Mosimann has accomplished in a short amount of time. He has been a judge on The Voice Belgium, completely won the French show Star Academy, and has soared into the DJMag Top 100 in 2016. That’s alot.
It’s clear Mosimann’s promotion is as diverse as his background. His SoundCloud focuses on both the banger and chill side of electronic music.
His latest work is most definitely far from heavy. “The Gifted One”, is an innovative twist on the chill house you are hearing. It’s less deep house / tech house influenced, which is sort of the norm in America at the moment, and focuses on a poppier vibe, most so when the drop comes.
Mosimann’s “The Gifted One” is well-produced and easy to enjoy multiple times over, click the YouTube link above to learn more about this artist.

Over 20 years into his lengthy career, EDX is still managing to stay on top of his game with his evolving sound. Currently, his brand of house lies in the mellower regions of deep house, a progression from his driving progressive house that he was known for earlier in his career. In 2008, one of EDX’s biggest tunes was his remix of Dubfire’s “Roadkill,” and now, it’s seeing new light thanks to EDX’s brand new, “Ibiza Sunrise” remix of the track that is sure to dominate this summer. Check out the remix above.

Keeping up with their online buzz, UK duo Tomboy & Robin unleash their song of summer. Featuring powerful vocals by Finnli the pair heat up the dance floor with their latest hit. We’re calling this one ear candy as it’s as sweet on the ears as the vocals are on Finnli’s lips. The single is out now on Big Beat Records and it’s a must listen!

Girls just want to have fun, that’s the motto for Full Crate’s release “Fun Girls” featuring Saidah Conrad, reminiscent of Azealia Banks’ “212.” A fusion of future house meets Dutch deep house, I can’t help but shake my backside to it, and I’m sitting down. All my ladies, make this your anthem, it’s thirsty Thursday and I got the track to pre-game too, while you’re getting ready. This is a must watch!
