Midnight Pool Party’s latest “Waiting” is a tune to say the least, I’m here grooving by myself, and the message of the song has me reflecting, but I feel good meditating on that. Maybe that’s what love is, we do things, we invest time into someone, “but is it really worth waiting for you?” The answer to that is who cares, press play, and just cruise to the groove, this is a must listen, and a must download!

Progressive House | Malarkey Debuts Catchy Future Funk Original, “Arcade Brain”
Posted by VMan on November 13, 2016
In today’s scene new hybrid subgenres are being created seemingly every day. Nonetheless, one producer in particular, Malarkey, strives to pique interest in new, future funk offering “Arcade Brain”
Just released on Tipsy Records, Arcade Brain is where funk influenced rhythms and future bass synths collide. This dynamic production reminds us that instrumental productions still have the ability to retain staying staying power despite the absence of vocals and traditional songwriting. We hope you enjoy this track as much as we do.
House, Remix | EMBRZ Flips The 1975
Posted by VMan on November 8, 2016
EMBRZ is a new name on my radar, but wow what a first impressive. The up and coming Irish producer remixed The 1975’s “Somebody Else” and it’s as smooth as a baby’s bottom. The 24-year-old musician has released a handful of remixes and originals in the past (including another 1975 flip) but this track is his biggest/strongest drop to date, hands down. Listen to it now above!
Chill, House | Truth x Lies Forms Heart-Warming Remix Of “My Hands” by AYER
Posted by VMan on November 6, 2016
From the vocals, to the deep house drop, to all the special effects that seemingly hit at just the right time: Truth x Lies have a ton right with this remix. From the first few seconds, a moment that includes a smooth fade and chimes rolling, “My Hands (Truth x Lies Remix)” takes off to be a tune you’ll quickly click “like” on.
Truth x Lies have around 5K followers on SoundCloud, they certainly made the right move when it came to the label they released “My Hands (Truth x Lies Remix)” on. Into The Wild Records boast 100K plays on nearly every release they have done, a feat that’s harder to achieve as SoundCloud makes the repost/exposure feature receive less and less reach. Into The Wild and Truth x Lies were a matach made in heaven here.

Tough Love & Roger Sanchez team up, and recruit Boy George, to release “Hold On,” a groovy deep house banger that will hit you right in the feels. There’s an analogy I like to revert back to every time, when describing this sound; imagine yourself at a club in London 4AM, and then it hits you, you find that new burst of energy to keep you going till the break of dawn, that’s “Hold On” for you. If this is your first time discovering Tough Love, get with the program, they’re taking over the UK house scene, and are currently finishing up their tour in the US. Press play, it’s a must listen!

We’ve been keeping a close eye on Arona Mane ever since he dropped the soulfully sublime Retro Future mixtape in June. This time, the Australian crate digger returns with a 2016 twist on the Womack & Womack classic Teardrops. Featuring a beautifully re-sung vocal by British newcomer Quinn, Teardrops is a seriously smooth number that just might become your next guilty pleasure.
House | BTOYL’s Remix Of Paperboy’s “Ditty” Is An Uplifting Must-Hear House Remix
Posted by VMan on November 1, 2016
BTOYL has a habit of taking classic sounds and putting a fresh uplifting how spin on them, this time he’s taken “Ditty” and done exactly that, the hip-hop vocals and specific sound design match up surprisingly well and leaving you with contentment. This is one tune that you can listen to again and again and it gets better each time.
Based out of California, “Ditty (BTOYL Remix)” is far from BTOYL’s first release, he also has won a Beatport remix competition in the past, has been supported by the label AIA and a handful of DJS. BTOYL plans on releasing more tunes in 2017, keep your eye on him.
