Posted by VMan on September 15, 2016
Brig is one of the most underrated artists in the bass game. He has been around for a while, has made several EP’s, has songs that take you to a new place, but hasn’t really hit the next level tear where you become a household name. Let’s change that.
Not sure what’s stopping him, but this guy has got it. Brig’s new EP will rock your socks off, containing a perfect balance of sounds that any bass head would like, and some that will flat-out surprise them.

Kai Wachi has long been a pillar in the bass music scene. Often times, you’ll find that your favorite producer’s favorite producer is Kai Wachi. Kai has been signed to Kannibalen Records for years now, and the two make an incredible match. Recently, his home imprint released Kai’s biggest EP to date, $KULL TEAM. This project features four singles, including a collaboration with the lovely Anna Yvette on “Need You.” Their work together closes out the EP with such strength that you wish it had come sooner. Before you get there though, you are met with three singles, two of which share Kai’s heavy hybrid style, and “RED,” a fiery electro original. Overall, this is one of the best EPs you are going to find if you are into bass music. Kai Wachi is setting himself for an incredible year in 2017. Let’s see how he closes 2016 out after this amazing EP.

Dubstep | Fox Stevenson Drops New Single on Disciple Records “Rocket”
Posted by VMan on September 12, 2016
Fox Stevenson is one artist with phenomenal longevity. The dude has been promoting his music since around 2012, which is basically ancient history in electronic music years. He’s been on huge labels including Firepower Records, Disciple Records, Spinnin’ Records, and more. He decided again to go with Disciple Records with this one -a fitting choice given the sound.
“Rocket” by Fox Stevenson not only features sick dirty guitar riffs, but throws down with huge, sick basslines that are both melodic and heavy. Fox Stevenson always puts out gold, “Rocket” is another notch in the belt. An original masterpiece.
Dubstep | Trivecta’s “Labyrinth” Boasts Some Of The Best Cinematic Bass Can Offer
Posted by VMan on August 8, 2016
With an almost My Chemical Romance like intro, Trivecta creates an experimental, rough-around-the-edges, semi-emo bass track that will surely capture a wide span of electronic music fans across EDM scene, via “Labyrinth (feat. Miyoki)”. Video game fans will dig this, bass heads will love it, those who enjoy a cinematic-like quality to their tunes, right there with them.
The Trivecta trip captures via “Labyrinth (feat. Miyoki)” is a mecca of detail, strong design, and a little bit of indescribable magic that strikes during peak intensity with this one. Trivecta is not to be messed with.

Now, it’s not Summer quite yet, but with festival season and Coachella here, EDM fans are living it up as though Summer has started. With so much music coming out, and set to release, it’s hard to pick and choose what tracks really stand out. Unless you are Dabin and Koven who delivered what could be one of the top tracks we here throughout the next several months from DJs all over the world. “Revenant” is their masterpiece that juxtaposes memorable melodies with some headbanging bass between drops. There’s a lot of insane records that are put out by Kannibalen Records and from Dabin in particular, but this is up there as one of the special ones. The match-up between Dabin and Koven was a perfect pairing, and I hope to see them do something again in the future. For now, stream or buy “Revenant.”

Dubstep | Xan Griffin Turns Up The Bass With His Official Remix To Minnesota’s ‘Color’
Posted by JT on January 20, 2016
If you haven’t become familiar with Xan Griffin stop what you’re doing and hit play. After turning heads at the Monstercat offices, Xan Griffin follows up with another heavy single orchestrating his finesse with the dubstep sound. I suggest long drives for this one – overall, one of the cleanest produced tracks by this emerging talent.
Dubstep | Brigs “I’m in Love” is A Mind-Blowing Bass/Soft Rock Hybrid
Posted by VMan on January 16, 2016
Brig has been featured on FNT many times, but no release matches the depth that Brig puts out on this one. The Russian bass artist added some of the most emotional elements to his music ever – and it translated brilliantly.
When that guitar parts hit, you get stuck in this happy trance where you’re loving what you are hearing but have no idea what’s coming next. Each passing beat bring about some large or small, but smooth change.
Brig is on fire going into 2015, check out more about him here.
