MitiS is and has been unbelievably incredible. He owns House and destroys Dubstep, melodic and heavy. This melodic Drumstep tune rocked my world. MitiS is preparing for the release of his upcoming EP, “Open Window”, and it is truly a treat to receive a remix such as this before the release. The melody is incredible, MitiS never disappoints his fans. His “Open Window” EP drops June 18th.

Drum & Bass, FYI | Noisia & Foreign Beggars Join To Create, I Am Legion

One of Drum & Bass’s legendary groups, Noisia, and Grime trio, Foreign Beggars, announced their new epic collaboration project, I Am Legion. It is no surprise that the two groups decided to work together like this. They have done many great tracks together in the past including “Shellshock” and a favorite of mine, “Contact”. Just the other day I Am Legion unleashed a preview on BBC Radio 1 of their filthy new track, “Make Those Moves”. The dominant bass behemoth pounds into your ears taking no prisoners. I Am Legion may end up being one the best things to happen to Drum & Bass, Neuro-funk, and Dubstep in 2013. Keep an eye out for more killer I Am Legion tracks.

Haywyre just kicked off his Song Per Week Project and so far so… awesome! I have been saying it for over a year now, Haywyre is one of the most underrated Glitch-hop producers out there. His skills in composition and production surpass most around him, leaving you absolutely in love with almost everything he puts out. This remix of “Eye of the Tiger” is unlike anything you will hear.

SizzleBird hit 8000 followers on Soundcloud, so in celebration we get one of the most beautiful melodic Dubstep tracks you will listen to all week. The song progresses deep into your soul, SizzleBird knew how to send music straight through you with this one. This is so incredible that I can’t even articulate the words to describe how this can make you feel. It is truly a work of art.

I don’t think anyone gets excited about 50 Cent remixes, in this case I strongly suggest you reconsider. Woody pulled this one out of the archives, having remixed it in 2005. This remix is fantastic, it gives the original a whole new face. The instrumental makes 50 Cent borderline R&B which is something you rarely see. A real blast from the past.
Hip-Hop | Adult Swim Singles Program 2013: Run The Jewels (EL-P & Killer Mike) – 36″ Chain

Adult Swim has just kicked off their Summer Single Program for 2013. For those of you that don’t know about the program, Adult Swim throughout the year collects unreleased tracks from many artists, building a compilation that they release track by track. Today is day one of the series release, starting with a cool collaboration between El-P and Killer Mike, calling themselves Run The Jewels. The track is a future Hip-Hop style instrumental with El-P and Killer Mike gripping a tight flow over the abstraction in the beat. This is just the beginning of an incredible series, with upcoming tracks from Madlib & Freddie Gibbs, Mac DeMarco, Lil B, and even a collaboration between legendary MF DOOM & Captain Murphy (aka. Flying Lotus). No doubt this will end up being one of the most talked about compilations of the Summer.
