When Sacred Meets Techno: Padre Guilherme & Ebmath Release Veneremur Et Adoremus

Few projects in electronic music dare to reframe tradition as boldly as Veneremur Et Adoremus, the debut EP from Lux Aeterna Records. A collaboration between Padre Guilherme, Italian duo Ebmath, vocalist Liliana Sofia Coelho, and the Pequenos Cantores de Amorim e de Laúndos children’s choir, the release fuses centuries-old sacred compositions with the immersive textures of melodic techno.

The EP opens with Ave Maria (Original Mix), a contemporary reimagining of Caccini’s timeless piece. The interplay between the children’s choir and Coelho’s hauntingly beautiful vocals is elevated by Ebmath’s sweeping synths and crisp rhythmic foundation. It is reverent, yet undeniably modern — a hymn for both sanctuaries and festival mainstages.

The second track, Adoramus (Original Mix), deepens this duality. Chant-like vocals weave into pulsing percussion and hypnotic melodic layers, creating a soundscape that feels equal parts meditative and celebratory. It embodies Padre Guilherme’s unique mission: to bridge the divide between spiritual transcendence and collective euphoria.

Following standout performances at Afterlife Ibiza, Zamna Festival, and even beneath Rio’s Cristo Redentor, Padre Guilherme continues to redefine what electronic music can symbolize. Veneremur Et Adoremus is not just an EP — it is an invitation to reimagine faith, tradition, and the dancefloor as one unified space.
