Bass Union coming through once again with yet another sick track. If you haven’t subscribed to these guys on youtube you are missing out some sick free downloads and exclusive previews. Skism has been busy running Never Say Die Records lately, so seeing something from him after a long drought is nice. He is back and in style, with this heavy remix of Mufflers track which should be released very soon along with other remixes from big names. Also keep a heads up for a Never Say Die Compilation that is supposed to be releasing soon thats going to be filled with dope tracks from all the boys at NSD. Before we get into the free releases this week, here is a must of have track for the Crunkstep R fans. Its newest creation of Excision & Downlink titled, Headbanga. Brace yourselves for this one because it’s my track of the week. Im not a big fan of Crunkstep, but this is on another level of heavy.

We are just getting started, READ ON.

Now first up this week we have a new EP from Helicopter Showdown given away as a tribute to their growing fan base. We don’t see this done by too many growing artist anymore, but these guys stay true to their fans. All the tracks on here are masterpieces even with a little Moombah VIP to there glorious Dramatron track. These guys alway deliver the face melting tunes we love to see on R.

Proper Villians coming through with his latest remix of a Mo-town styled track like we saw the Killabits release a few weeks ago. This style seems to work well with dubstep and he nailed this remix. The drop fits the track perfectly and doesn’t overkill the funk mood, but instead adds onto it creating a banger!

I wasn’t a big fan of Figure’s latest futuristic track Must Destroy, but after he created a remix competition out of it some good remixes have surfaced. This being my favorite so far, is by Nightmare & NICMOR. They tone down the electro and futuristic sounds a little more than the original and focus on bring the bass and laser synths.

What would be a week of R without a deep grimey dubstep track. Enigma Dubz provides our deep track this week with a remix of Hijinkx latest single. The reggae influence always makes things better for these style of tracks, or any style of dubstep for that matter. This track brings me back to some of Caspa’s style back in the day, which is always a plus.

True Tiger giving away another free track this week promoting there upcoming EP releasing on their label. Be on the lookout for that one; looking forward to playing out Eyeball. I like the vocal slicing in this track as well as the big drops filled with tons of bass.

DubRocca’s latest remix is one of my favorites from him. Vocals in a track are always a plus, but when used the right way they can make the track that much better. DubRocca makes all the right decisions on this one providing the fans with a sick remix.

To wrap things up here is a nice little 30 minutes mix from DJ Bane to cool things off. I’ve been getting submissions for this On Cue Insomniac DJ competition, but this one won me over. It has a little bit of melodic dubstep, electro, and of course the heavy stuff. If you are a fan of good DJ mixes give this one a listen.
