Throwback Thursdays – Drake, The Boogaloo Crew

Posted by on July 21, 2011

Due to the fact that he has so much good older material that many people have never even heard before, Drizzy is a natural Throwback Thursday contender. You Know, You Know is, in my opinion, one of Drakes greatest  tracks. His lyricism  and flow are on point, and with a beat produced by No I.D. and Kanye, how can you go wrong? How this track didn’t make the cut for Thank Me Later is beyond me.

THROWBACK HIP-HOP: Drake – You Know, You Know

This track is a straight up heater. The build up is long but hang on till the 1 minute mark.

THROWBACK ELECTRO: Raaban & Evana – Realize (Raaban Extended Mix)

With artists like Rusko and Skrillex making what I like to call rage dubstep, its always nice to hear a dub track that you can justsit back to.

THROWBACK DUBSTEP: The Boogaloo Crew – Days Go By

Speaking of Skrillex, here is an old remix to an All American Rejects track courtesy of your boy Mach. The song is a little more on electroish than what you’re used to hearing from present-day Skrillex, but it’s still dope.
