Snails never fails. The Kannibalen Records vomitstep master is at it again, this time with a VIP of his collaboration with Jack U and Taranchyla, “Holla Out.” He’s been playing it in his sets, making a killing every time it is pumped out of the sound system, no matter the venue. He brings his signature sound design to the table, while also mixing in some fresh new cuts. Snails has had an unbelievable year, and he’s still staying strong, pushing records that are rivaled by few in the bass game. Expect to hear more from this cat through Kannibalen Records, where he has been making mad moves over the past couple years to get where he is today.

There’s nothing like a delicious mid-day snack when you’re in the midst of a long festival weekend, but often times the options aren’t always ideal. Food lovers attending TomorrowWorld won’t be having this issue, as the Atlanta-based festival just announced a partnership with Top Chef finalist, Kevin Gillespie, who will be bringing an unique dining experience called Tomorrow’s Table to the festival. With three menus that will bring whole hog BBQ, flavors from around the world, and Southern favorites, as well as a take away picnic service and an exclusive 10-course dinner, it’s safe to say that festival-goers will have a plethora of options to choose from. The festival also just announced their TomorrowWorld totem contest, a chance to win $500, travel, VIP tickets, and a mentoring session with TomorrowWorld’s director by entering a Key To Happiness themed totem.
You can find more information about the totem contest here and get your tickets to TomorrowWorld.

Contests, Events | Roger Sanchez At Mister East 4/5 VIP Ticket Giveaway
Posted by Middy on April 2, 2014
The legendary Roger Sanchez will be stopping by the tri-state areas finest new clubs, Mister East, for what should be another incredible night there. Roger Sanchez needs little introduction as seasoned pro in the industry with almost as many radio shows as Armin and has rocked just about every festival worldwide. You won’t want to miss him take the decks on Saturday with his expansive discography to call upon. Unlike most opening DJs nowadays, resident DJ Sevag actually knows how to warm up a room, playing sexy grooves to get the crowd in the mood for the headliner, no matter who it is, and doesn’t just bang out Beatport top 40. For the occasion we are giving away two VIP tickets so you and a friend can party in style. If you aren’t a betting person, though I would advise you do so, you can purchase tickets here.
Contests, Exclusive | Win VIP Table For 5 To The Stafford Brothers At Mister East 3/22
Posted by Middy on March 19, 2014
The ridiculous snow storm (I got 13 inches in 11 hours) canceled the last giveaway we tried to run with the Stafford Brothers, but now we are back in business with another outstanding giveaway. This time we will be heading through the tunnels and over the bridge into Jersey to Mister East. The giveaway will remain much the same, minus the meet and greet as you and 4 friends get a free VIP table + bottle to party with some of the hardest partiers around.
The kicker is that that if you are chosen as the winner, you will then be entered for the chance to win a Vegas trip for two including flights, hotel accommodation, $200 in funny money at the Crazy Horse strip club, and the opportunity to party with the Stafford Brothers. Sounds like a deal to me. Check out the rest of their spring tour dates after the jump and grab tickets here.
Events | Above & Beyond Bring Group Therapy To Atlantic City
Posted by Middy on February 7, 2014

Still riding high from incredibly successful release of their stunning acoustic album, Above & Beyond came to the Tri-State area during Super Bowl weekend for a dose of Group Therapy at HQ Nightclub in Atlantic City. They have very few upcoming shows on the docket for this spring, so I knew that this one was a must attend, notably just after the acoustic album. I saw them in DC the weekend after they released Group Therapy, so this is becoming a tradition of mine to see them live after they release an album. I see no reason to stop. Stream the album below and read on for the rest of the review.
