Hip-Hop | G-Eazy – LadyKillers (Ft. Hoodie Allen)
Posted by dshaq on September 14, 2012
In lieu of their tour, G and Hoodie collab on this artfully crafted G-Eazy beat. A nice laid back tempo and some quality rhymes, which is what we’ve come to expect from both of the two. Cop the song below and be sure to look out for G and Hoodie in your city!
Dubstep | Roksonix – Get Live

It has been a while since we saw anything from Roksonix and everyone, and I mean everyone is still waiting for their remix to Nero’s Me & You , but their is still no word on a release date for that track. To hold us over we have this upbeat banger that is sure to get your head bobbing. Giving us a taste of their highly appealing synth sounds along with some outrageous bass and laser synths. I’m a fan of their mid-track tempo changes as well which they show us again through this track. Grab this tune and the other off Beatport HERE.
Dubstep | Mojo — Superman EP
Posted by Sev on August 13, 2012
Just released today on Buygore Records, was Mojo’s latest EP titled “Superman EP”. After Mojo’s last hit track Carnival I haven’t heard any distinctive tracks that have been worth while from him, until recently. This EP consists of four tracks each of which are unique in style compared to any tracks we have seen released lately.
Starting off with Superman, this track contains some smooth melodies alongside some distorted, overdriven sounds blended into a great progression. This is one of those tracks where the drop just streams straight through the track instead of blowing your ear drums into pieces. It serves as more of an emotional and easy going listen. In Warmin Up and Trigger Finger Mojo brings out the grimy, vigorous sounds that I could see FuntCase playing out at this shows, which means these tracks are no joke. They are the crowd pleasing tracks on the EP that keep the suspense in the intro and then crush the crowds in the drop. The last track on the EP is The Future, which is a mid-tempo styled track that reminds me of a beefed up version of what we see Culprate and Koan Sound making. Grab the EP on Beatport HERE.
Dubstep | Kill Paris – The Love We Shared (2012 B-Side)
Posted by Sev on July 19, 2012
Kill Paris and his funky dubstep never gets old. Every track this amazing producer has put out so far has given off some nice positive summer vibes that I could jam out to non-stop on repeat all day without getting tired. I absolutely love what he did with this track by taking the chorus from In My Mind (Axwell Remix) and just turning it into a mid-tempo,dubstep summer banger. Always giving us the best in production quality, it is highly unlikely to see this Ableton certified producer ever disappoint. I recommend all upcoming producers looking for little hints and tips to check out his youtube channel that can be found at the bottom along with his other social medias.

Mashups | DOSVEC – Somebody Nasty
Posted by GMONEY on July 3, 2012
This is a big week for DOSVEC and he is kicking it off by dropping the track, Somebody Nasty, from his new Summer Social EP. Once again, DOSVEC delivers absolute fire with up-tempo instrumentals that compliment Notorious BIG perfectly. Yes, we all know that Somebody I Used To Know has been remixed a million times but trust me, this is one of the best. Make sure to support DOSVEC on Facebook HERE because he will be dropping tracks from his new Summer Social EP all week.

Chill, Hip-Hop, Mixtapes | Beau Young Prince – Dream Catcher (Mini-Mixtape)
Posted by J_Salzer on May 14, 2012
After a brief hiatus from the making of good music, actually, let’s call it a hibernation. Beau Young Prince has returned with a vengeance. Recognizing that he’s been off his game, Beau took the necessary steps to get back on track with this mini-mixtape. Although the tape is only six songs deep, it features Beau showing off some serious versatility. He tackles some faster paced beats, keeping up with the higher tempo with ease. And flows over the chill, slower beats without missing a beat. Admittedly, one track, Wild Things Are, I have no idea what the hell is going on with, but it’s a pretty cool beat.
I found it interesting that Beau named the tape Dream Catcher, because after his lack of quality music in the past few months, it shows me that he’s back, and dedicated to the dream that so many artists are vying for. You. All artists are out to gain fans, because they know that they’re the ultimate key to their success, and Beau knows that he’s been off his game, but he’s back. Last night, I asked Beau why he chose a bed for the cover, and he said because that’s where dreams occurred, and he really liked the image his guy brought him.
Electro-House | Albin Myers – Hells Bells EP
Posted by Middy on May 1, 2012
The Swedish electro house aficionado, Albin Myers is known for making tracks that put push the limits of electro house, such as “Bumbaclot” and his remix of “Fade Into Darkness”, that was more on the progressive side, but still showed his unique sound. This EP, out on Dim Mak Records, brings together his harder, grungier sounds into an EP with the track “Hells Bells”, which has been championed by the likes of Tiesto, Avicii & Tristan Garner and is a perfect weapon in any set and very good in bootlegs. Just when you thought it wasn’t possible to up the tempo and energy of the track just a bit more, he then adds a drumstep version of “Hells Bells”, though the signature drop is sacrificed a bit. The first two tracks are very good being a little less grungy and uptempo, providing a little respite for the listener and showing the more subtle side of Albin Myers’ sound, while still keeping up with “Hells Bells” and the drumstep counterpart. Albin Myers is definitely one to keep an eye on this year and into the future with his unique sound and ability to be creative and versatile.
