The boys of the summer sound are back with their 25th installment of the Solé fixtape! It’s been awesome being on board with these guys since their first installment and watching this series grow into a diverse yet impressive group of artists. If you’re not familiar with Belgium native, Aeroplane, now is a great time to hop on board with his sound. Coming off a hot weekend at Coachella, Aeroplane is an artist to watch in 2014.

The team over at Solé Bicycles are back with their latest installment of the Solé Fixtape Series. Solé has been absolutely crushing this mix series enlisting everyone from Goldroom to RAC. Straight from Solé themselves, “It’s CLEARLY summer in Australia. Transient and euphoric, yet funky, the vibes will plop you down next to a pile of sand, a water source, and curve the corners of your mouth upward in this month’s fixtape. The Miami Horror boys, based out of Sydney, have really put something special together for us. We can’t stop listening, and we’re not sure if thats because we really like it, or because these tones are quite mesmerizing. Probably both. Though I’m sure we will all enjoy the new perspective that his recent trip around the world afforded him, I’m very thankful Sol is back to making music. Armed with another beautiful, up-tempo, horn-laden backdrop provided by The Zillas, Sol shows that he hasn’t missed a step while away, garnering a large amount of momentum as his new EP Eyes Open nears. Sol is back. After a long hiatus traveling the world, Sol returns to the states this month. If this is any hint of what 10 months off from music does for him, I’d like to see him take 20. Just kidding, I couldn’t go that long with out Sol. The production duo The Zillas handles the production, and they flip the beat at around 3:11 and Sol kills it again. It’s like Sol never missed a beat(no pun intended), he’s picking up right where he left off, but better. Judging off this track his flow has become more polished and his lyrics have become sharper. The boys over at Sole Bicycles are back at it again with their third installment of their signature “fixtapes,” teaming up with the Portland DJ Duo known as, RAC. RAC creates a fresh, funky mix with a wide variety of tracks that mesh almost too well. Appreciate the approach they took with this one as it features tracks that stray from the mainstream norm of big room synth’s everyone and their grandmother are slapping together these days.
