Hip-Hop | Kanye West ft. Mos Def, Swizz Beatz, Raekwon & Charlie Wilson – Lord Lord Lord
Posted by Juicebox on September 18, 2010
Yet another track from Kanye on “G.O.O.D. Friday”. Is it just me, or do all these tracks sound half finished? Like it or not, I think Kanye is doing something really special right now. You’re seeing Kanye releasing track by track diligently, you’re seeing artists work together that would have never previously if it weren’t for Kanye, and you’re seeing the resurgence of Charlie Wilson’s career. This may be a time when we look back on Kanye’s career and say, this was his artistic peak.

Hip-Hop | Richard Hilfiger/ Rich Hil

Rich Hil – Purple Roads n Shit — (4 stars) So heres the deal. Rich Hil is Tommy Hilfiger’s son. Word is, he is in rehab right now; understandable if you are making music like this. I feel like I am in a drug induced coma yet pretty intrigued and vibing his unique style (mix of Posner and Cudi?). I have the whole mixtape. Should I put it up?
Albums, Mashups, Techno | Kaskade Mashups
Posted by BIGLIFE on September 5, 2010
As all my avid followers know, I’m a house junkie especially for tracks with melodic accapellas. Therefore it should come as no surprise that one of my favorite DJ’s out right now is Kaskade, who’s latest album release catapulted him into the big leagues. Below are a few dirrtyyyy mashups, which Ryan released as promo tracks. If you’d like to see Kaskade at an FNT Halloween bash in the city, let us know in the comments section.
Kaskade seamlessly mashes one of the summer’s hottest tracks with his very own in order to produce a deep progressive track.
Kaskade vs. Alex Guadino – I’ll Never Dream I’m In Love (4.5 Stars)
Deadmau5’s incredible progressive house track, Brazil, just begs for Haleys angelic vocals. Seriously, this mash adds a perfect dimension to the original.
Haley vs. Deadmau5 – Falling In Love With Brazil – Kaskade’s Mash Up (5 Stars)
Swedish House Mafia’s One (Your Name) ft Pharell will be taking over fraternity speakers near you this fall/year so naturally I’m always interested to hear new interpretations of the original. Kaskade didn’t let me down with this house-club joint.
Kaskade vs. Swedish House Mafia – Fire In Your New Shoes vs. One (4.5 Stars)
Hip-Hop, Techno | Sheldon Scott- I’m Luving You
Posted by Juicebox on August 25, 2010
It’s been a while since we’ve heard something from Sheldon Scott. After a long wait, he hit me today with a new song that is absolutely out of control. I’m not kidding you, it’s complete fire. Sheldon Scott is hands down my favorite unknown artist right now. The track is produced by T-Minus. Shout out to Toronto.
Hip-Hop | Back to school BANGERS

Katy Perry – Firework (Produced by Stargate) — (5 stars) Not only is she my biggest celebrity crush but she is on fire right now. Don’t be too cool to get this because it is fire.
Roll Deep – Green Light — (5 stars) My buddy who lives in London sent this to me and said its blowing up over there. Since Taio Cruz made the jump over the pond I don’t see why this wont either. PARTY HARD to this boys and girls.
Souljah Boy – Blowing Me Kisses (Prod. By Bei Maejor) — (4 stars) I feel weird saying this but this track is super catchy. Souljah Boy has come out with some RnBish tracks and Bei Major happened to produce this. Pretty catchy. Worth a listen for sure.
