Progressive House | Digital Koas & Royal K ft J’ Something – Nightfalls (JoeySuki Remix)
Posted by Middy on July 25, 2012
JoeySuki under the guidance and mentor ship of the esteemed Hardwell, has grown into one of the premier rising dutch house assets. Signed to Revealed Records, he has been able to release plenty of records along side names like Firebeatz and Hardwell, while creating a growing discography of originals and remixes. He is a bit like Dannic and the rest of the Revealed Records crew who like to make a lot of bootlegs and Mashups to make their sets interesting and keep the listeners on their toes. This remix is a bit of a change of pace from his more recent club and Electro style tracks as it is a more Progressive leaning track with a big room sound with an elegant piano build and graceful male vocals that lead into a drop of euphoric synth chords and a driving bass line.
Progressive House | Paris & Simo – Nova
Posted by Middy on July 23, 2012
Now that Hardwell told you how to get yourself signed to Revealed Records, we now have an example from young Canadian producers Paris & Simo with their single “Nova”. Familiar faces on Revealed with their previous release “Monk” including a Hardwell edit, they have been tabbed again to provide a release worthy of Hardwell’s esteemed label’s liking. The track combines a moving synth chord progression with a thumping bass line and growling undertones to create this well layered, well oiled machine ready for club and festival use. The young Canadian duo have been very impressive with their releases to this point, so expect more from them in coming months and year.

Electro-House | Dyro – Paradox
Posted by Middy on June 18, 2012
Dyro is growing in front of our eyes this year with productions such as “Raid”, “EMP“, “Saeta” his “Kontiki‘ remix and others. He has made his best productions with the help of others leading me to have lingering doubts about whether or not he could make his best original work on his own. “Paradox” just about quiets those doubts with his hard, growling electro sound and adds some layers of pitched synths to the break with adept key work and big room synths in the interlude giving an eerie feeling of anticipation of the imminent drop. Dyro’s much anticipated collaboration with Ansol “Top Of The World” is to be released July 9th so be on the look out for that as well.
Electro-House | Dyro & Rene Kuppens – Raid
Posted by Middy on April 30, 2012
Dyro & Rene Kuppens have combined to make this absolute beast of track “Raid” out on Revealed Records. The track starts with rising synth chords and thumping bass line that create a big room feel. Then the track just explodes at around the 2 minute mark with one of the most powerful drops I have heard in a long time with a pounding bass line and pulsing electro synths with layered progressive synth chords and other slight variations in the progression. The creativity and production on this track is top of the line with tons of energy, blasting through your speakers at 110 miles per hour. Expect to hear this throughout the summer festival season.
DJ-Set, Progressive House | NO_ID & Martin Volt – Zelda (Incl. Hardwell Edit)
Posted by Middy on March 26, 2012
As we wait for Hardwell & Dannic – Kontiki, Revealed Records has released these two tracks from NO_ID & Martin Volt with an edit from Hardwell to hold us over until then. The original is the more progressive of the two with a strong distorted bass line with a rising synth melody over the moving bass line in the break. Harwell’s edit is actually an edit, unlike the trend of tracks recently where the big name artist does very little and adds his name to it. He takes the song and strips it down to make it much more of a festival track, putting much greater emphasis on the bass line. He keeps the rising synth melody for part of the break but then drops it for his own signiature big room sound that takes this track to a whole new level.

Dubstep, Preview, Progressive House | Michael Brun – Rise (Preview)
Posted by Middy on March 10, 2012
Michael Brun, if you haven’t already found out is super talented and ready break through to the big leagues. With support from the biggest Djs around on his track “Dawn” on Hardwell’s Revealed Records, as well as plenty of other singles and remixes, it was only a matter of time before he got another track released on a major label. “Rise” is set come out on Dirty South’s Phazing Records March 19th, and he will be performing at Dirty South’s Phazing Nights on March 21st during WMC with Pierce Fulton, LA Riots and Norman Doray. During the video Dirty South gives you a tour of his incredibly nice studio, which should be a real treat for you Djs and Producers out there. Also after the jump I added a really chill dubstep track from Glow Dj resident Des McMahon that has some clear jazz influences.
Progressive House | Dannic, John Dahlback, Alex Kenji

Dannic, formerly known as the Dj Funkadelic, is back on Hardwell led Revealed Records to provide us with this funky, grungy house tune. It is lready supported by some of the best in the business, so do not overlook this gem from Dannic on Revealed Records. Get it on BEATPORT.

John Dalhback put together the Toolroom Records Compilation that combines all sorts of tech, deep, progressive and electro house releases from the illustrious Toolroom Records, new and old, into one 40 song compilation. John Dalhback released himself 3 several songs in the compilation as he was the mixer and 3 of them are new. One was a more techy release and the other two are more progressive sounding. “Escape” is the superior cut of the two with its sweeping synth cords and incredibly smooth melodies, though the other two are quite good as well. The other two can be found with the rest of the compilation, a worthwhile purchase or at least worth looking at on BEATPORT.

Coming off of his widely supported single with Manuel De La Mar “Acid As 303”, Alex Kenji, takes a different route this time from Acid House to a more contemporary, mellow progressive house track. This track relies heavily on string instruments with a heavy dose of claps and thumping bass in the drop with an oscillating synth texture underneath. Get this on BEATPORT.
