Posted by CHAZZZ on April 20, 2013
Na Palm, who is currently on his 15 city Revival Road Tour, wanted to give you guys a little surprise and change of pace in his newest release. Always keeping listeners on their toes, he never fails to showcase his wide range of lyrical skills. He slows it way down over an XX beat and brings you on a lyrical journey in this new track “Reconsider”. Na Palm has some major momentum building and it’s going to be a huge summer on tour for him. Be sure to check his tour dates, videos and of course, free music HERE.
Dubstep, Electronic | Crywolf – Ghosts EP
Posted by Mel on April 10, 2013
Aside from the rather lackluster Brazzers update, today was a pretty good day. Not only did my mom buy me Abercrombie cologne for some reason, but Crywolf’s new EP finally dropped. I should preface this by saying I am not a huge fan of dubstep. In fact, the last dubstep song I remember downloading was two years ago and it was from the master of dubstep, the one true god, Skrillex. Scary Monsters And Nice Sprites was it. Now just because I don’t download any doesn’t mean I don’t appreciate a good dubstep song. Luckily though, Crywolf’s EP spans multiple genres which range from dubstep to chill electronic. Justin Phillips, aka Crywolf, does his own vocals which for me is the highlight of the EP. My favorite track is easily “Ghosts”, primarily because his vocals are really put on display here and is complimented perfectly by a chill instrumental. “The Moon Is Falling Down” and “The Home We Made Pt. II” are available as free downloads on his Facebook. Be sure to grab the rest of the EP on iTunes.

Dubstep, Electronic, Glitch | Reso – The Rugged
Posted by Sev on February 26, 2013
Reso has been on the grind as of late creating some of the most intricate and unique tracks out there. His latest creation is a one of a kind Neuro-hop track that is crazy on the basses. After being signed to Inspected and on the verge of releasing his Tangram Remix EP, he decided to give away this track for free to showcase what is to come. This one is some next level KOAN Sound styled funk that is just too hard to describe. It is almost like if you took a 90’s hip hop vibe and mashed it with some of the most grueling, tearing mid-range basses in the business; that would be equivalent to the outcome of this track. Grab the free download and follow Reso for more updates on his upcoming releases.

Exclusive, Moombahton, Videos | The R.O.A.R. – Touchdown [Video + EP]
Posted by Spice on February 1, 2013
NYC-based producer the R.O.A.R. stands at the intersection of rock and moombahton — and it’s a combination that works better than you think. His newest track, “The Touchdown,” melds the wobbly funk of moombahton with some hard-edged vocals and driving drum kicks for a result that’s high energy and sure to get you moving. The full package is out now on Beatport and features remixes that range from trill and trap’t out to groovy and latin-infused (see: Mr. Vega of Sazon Booya’s take). And sure to check out the above video — the visuals match the vibe of the song perfectly.

Dubstep | Enigma Dubz – Making All These Moves Ft. Katie McCloud (Original Mix)

This release has officially won me over today. The SKisM and DC Breaks collab was a great way to start the day, but ENiGMA Dubz has absolutely crushed them with this single track from his album. Releasing his album “Genesis” today, this Birmingham native has been creating some of the most unique styled tracks I have seen from any artist as of late. Known for tracks that range from Dub/Reggae, to Dubstep, to Hip-Hop, to Garage; it seems as there are no boundaries for him. His intentions were clear on this track, and they were to crush any crowd that hears this heavy, aggressive original featuring Katie McCloud on the vocals. The whole album is an amazing masterpiece, but this track stood out to me the most. Check out the album on Beatport HERE along with Making All These Moves HERE.
Electro, Moombahton | Zedd – Stars Come Out (Dillon Francis Remix)
Posted by Spice on March 19, 2012
To quote Dave Nada, sometimes things just sound way more trill slowed. By now we’ve gotten a number of excellent remixes to Zedd’s already excellent “Stars Come Out,” but I can’t resist what happens when you drop the tempo down to the 110 bpm range. As always, Dillon Francis delivers masterfully in this regard, adding in smooth builds and agile synths that work well with the vocals. Preview it below before cruising to Beatport.
