Posted by BIGLIFE on June 30, 2015
Back from Hiatus (Oh me, oh me, oh my) Clinton Sparks has a knack for remixing songs that are future hits. Case and point: Nigerian born Jidenna’s Roman GianArthur’s assisted “Classic Man” record signed to Janelle Monae’s “Wondaland” imprint on Epic Records that’s heating up on national radio. With no class lost, Clinton Sparks takes “Classic Man” into 2015, transforming the synthy Roman GianArthur production into a vibey remix with the help of melodic chords, an all new club-ready build, and a special Clinton Sparks beatbox that aims to find its way into your essential summer playlist.
House | Felon Recruits Kaleem Taylor For Dancefloor Smasher “Isla”

Felon (comprised of London residents Archie Ward, George Renwick and James Levey) recruit Kaleem Taylor (a consistent Tchami collaborator who was recently featured on his AC Slater “Missing You” collaboration) drop the radio edit to “Isla” which is pure dance floor filth. I needed a Monday pick me up track, and here it is. The vibes are too good.

Future House | Sydney’s Tom Budin Crushes Wiz Khalifa’s “See You Again”
Posted by BIGLIFE on May 5, 2015
I’m not a fan of the pop-rap crossover “Top 40” nonsense that gets played on the radio. I’m not even a Fast and Furious fan. This “See You Again” record is something else though. It’s so well done and it’s the hit that Wiz Khalifa (and his label) seriously needed. Hits are hard to come by. Sydney’s Tom Budin (pronounced Boo-Din for all you yanks) brings the record to another level, transporting it into a groovy future house banger that I can see myself blacking out to and throwing up in an Uber XL later in the night while driving through Raising Cane’s and ordering five caniac combos. It’s just that good. What’s even better? It’s a free download which should be a crime. I’d buy this remix a million times.

Progressive House | Zedd Ft. Selena Gomez – I Want You To Know (Moiez Remix)
Posted by Middy on March 24, 2015
Zedd’s new track with Selena Gomez is a certified radio banger. It may be a little too EDM for the charts, but it will get there, especially when Zedd’s album comes out in the next few months. Moiez decided to flip the track on its head and take it to the clubs with a rave-ready, acid-infused remix that gives the tune a bit more of an edge from the pop sheen that was required for Gomez’s vocals. Stream it below and grab the free download.
FYI | An Anatomy Of A Pop Song: Usher’s “I Don’t Mind” Ft. Juicy J
Posted by BIGLIFE on January 22, 2015
Usher has another hit on his hands. “I Don’t Mind” is incredibly catchy, as I found myself listening to it multiples today until I was sick of hearing it. This, of course, is by design, as Dr. Luke and Cirkut produced the record. If you don’t know who Dr. Luke and Cirkut are, they’re a production team (of sorts) that are responsible for almost every hit on the radio. Collaborators Benny Blanco and Max Martin would beg to differ, but I digress. The average fan doesn’t know (and perhaps doesn’t care) about who produced and wrote the new Usher single, but we do. It’s northing short of fascinating.
