House | Pep & Rash – Rumors (Original Mix)

Posted by on January 12, 2015

Pep & Rash are the hottest thing in 2015 right now. After a long tease by Spinnin’ Records, Pep & Rash finally deliver their “Rumors” original that’s future house greatness. Their production quality is miles above the rest and their output in 2014 proves it. Keep an eye on these two. They’re going places.

Richard Bass is a name you need to familiarize yourself with. His talent in the studio is quite breath-taking, always releasing quality originals and remixes like his remix to Roald Velden’s “Last Flight Home.” His melodic chords are recognized as some of the most uplifting and this track is a testament of such facts. Sit back and let these transitions guide you as you drift off into musical heaven.

This track is absolutely mystifying. It’s a beautiful composition of love-struck chords and a heart-wrenching melody. This remix to Gate’s ‘Relief’ displays, once again, demonstrates Xanwow’s calibre and quality of production, his refined technique on the keyboard, and his ability to transport one into a state of tranquility. I think I just found true love…

Out as part of the Elliptical Sun Melodies [ESM133] compilation, Musty hits it out of the park, taking us a on a feel-trip to the mystical playgrounds residing among the cloud. He adds to the quality content consistently provided by the label, with high frequency synths and a melodic chord progression that showcases his aptitude as a melodic progressive producer. Hats off to Musty for this one.

House | Redondo & Boiler – Sunshine

Is the video cliche? Yes. Does it feature sexual innuendo meant to sucker in the casual listener? Yes. Is this track a big ole’ tune? You’re damn right. Redondo & Boiler have been teasing us with previews (where it first premiered on The Magician’s “Magic Tape” series) and it’s finally out today. There’s no full track post, which is a bit of a disappointment. Understandable though, given the amount of people use Soundcloud to mp3 converters to rip tracks. The track quality isn’t ever the same, but I digress. Support Redondo and Boiler by picking up their latest Spinnin’ Records release. It doesn’t disappoint.

Croatia Squad is silly good. He’s a one man machine that pumps out quality tunes like Mormon mommy bloggers pump out kids. This tune makes me want to slut it up and I’m not even a girl. That’s how fire flames it is. “Drop The Skirt” off his forthcoming “Touch Me” EP is filth. Whoops, there goes my skirt.

Tip of the trilby to Enormous Tunes.

Future House | Oliver Heldens & Mr. Belt & Wezol – Pikachu

Previewed for quite sometime now, Oliver Heldens and Mr. Belt and Wezol (who brought us “Feel So Good“) drop an early preview of their “Pikachu” collaboration that stands as another quality release. Sure, it’s that same square wave bass sound but I can’t criticize Heldens for his consistent output. “Pikachu” is available via Spinnin’ Records on November 3rd. Pikachu. Gotta catch em all.

Keep an eye out for Oliver’s “Heldeep Mixtape 6” coming soon.
