Electro, House | Quality Electro/House

The L.A. Kings girls were on campus and were kind enough to take a picture with some FNT hats. They asked that their identity remained unknown so I had to blackout their eyes, they look better that way anyways. Enjoy some quality electro/house tracks, no real bangers, just quality music.
Human Life – Wherever We Are (Grum Remix) — (4 stars) Upbeat electro feel good track
The Count & Sinden feat Bashy – Addicted To You — (4 stars) Great club mix
David Guetta – Who’s That Chick (FMIF Dub Remix) — (4 stars) Upbeat house track, huge let down they didn’t include the vocals
Giggs & Cole – Gravity (Club Mix) — (3.5 stars) Upbeat house track
Howard Jones – And Do You Feel Scared — (3.5 stars)
Electro | The Island (Steve Angello, AN21, & Max Vangeli Remix)

I hate single posts but I know that the third of you that check this site for the electro music appreciate when gods of the genre come together to produce something this epic. I know that you’ll hit like making me feel better about my blogging abilities, I know that you’ll play it on repeat waiting for that drop at 3:02 to get your heart racing and your veins pumping, and I know you’ll send this to your 10 friends that appreciate good music. When it comes to taking a legendary track like “The Island” and remixing it to produce an even higher quality track, difficult is an understatement. I’ve been anticipating this song more than BigLife is anticipating The Jonas Brothers new album. Shout out to whoever the hell sent us this great picture.
Pendulum – The Island (Steve Angello, AN21, & Max Vangeli Remix) — (4.5 stars)
UPDATE: Our friends over at Chubby Beavers hit us with the latest remix from their artist, Coucheron. The kid is 16 and is killing it right now. Hit play and you’ll see exactly what I’m talking about.
Pendulum – The Island (Coucheron Remix) — (4 stars)

Mashups | 5 And A Dime- Can I Have Some Bass With That
Posted by Juicebox on October 1, 2010
Let me tell you something. It’s pretty hard to consistently put out quality music. Even I give Rick Ross a break here and there. I can’t expect greatness ALL the time. Perhaps I can start expecting it from 5 And A Dime though. He certainly hasn’t let me down yet. By the way, Happy Birthday my dude. Oh yeah, and Alex… try to behave yourself with Big Life this weekend. Also, shout out to Lamda Chi at USC for sending in this sick picture.
Hip-Hop | The Saturdays ft. Flo-Rida- Higher (Remix)

A close friend to the Fresh New Tracks empire sent me this picture tonight. Apparently, the gentleman on the right is a loyal follower from SMU that I haven’t had the pleasure to meet yet. Here’s the back story on this…. When I was at the TCU vs. SMU game last weekend, I saw you rocking our hat in the crowd. I almost came up to you and thanked you for sporting our hat, but I got caught up and forgot. My mistake. Since I don’t have any other way to reach out to you, I want to personally thank you for supporting us. Hit me on the g-mail and I’ll hook you up with gear if you don’t already some. TFM.
Interviews | Fresh New Tracks Apparel Update
Posted by Juicebox on September 23, 2010
As you may have noticed, the apparel came and went. We ordered quite a bit and we sold out in 8 hours. Don’t fret though, we’ve already ordered more and we’re going to make sure that everyone that missed out will get their gear the next go around. This time, it won’t take like a million months. (We’ve changed shipping companies).
Those who have had their gear shipped to them, we’d love to hear from you. Starting today, we’ll be accepting submissions of pictures in your Fresh New Tracks gear. If you send us a picture via e-mail, we’ll post it up on the site like this one above. Capische? The picture above was sent to us by none other than Steven, a student at Southern Methodist University in Dallas. If you didn’t already know, he is the founder of the Facebook group, “When I Was Your Age, Pluto Was a Planet“. I look forward to seeing more pictures!
