The new track “Soo Bad” was released on Friday, pre Coachella madness, but it made it across to us in proper fashion. Having written with some of Denmark’s biggest acts including MØ’s, Goss is leading the way for his own music to stand on it’s own. Go ahead and stream “Soo Bad” below and be on the lookout for his  Healthcare EP due out on  April 28th.

Shemce returns with a new look, and an even vibier sound with his remix of Major Lazer & DJ Snake’s “Lean On”. Known for his tropical sounds, Shemce integrates himself with subtle future house vibes but nonetheless pushes through something unique. The track starts with an indie dance build that highlights MO’s soulful vocals, eventually leading to a dance floor-crushing future house influenced payoff. Although the track incorporates several future house synths, it still maintains the feel good indie dance vibe Shemce has become known for. Grab this one as a free download.

Next Friday marks the beginning of one of the best, still most underrated music festivals in the business: Austin City Limits. Held outdoors in the state capital’s glorious Zilker Park, ACL marks the end of festival season, offering a lineup that pulls artists both big and small from every corner of the planet. On that note, ACL also does a great job at showcasing the underdogs who traditionally end up scoring top slots in big-name festivals the following year. Now a contender in the two-week festival category, you can expect to hear more great music than you’ll know what to do with over the course of the festival, not to mention you’ll be overwhelmed with tough decisions of overlapping artists. Well, lucky for you we picked out a few of the artists you reaaally shouldn’t miss if you end up making the pilgrimage down south. And for those stuck at home watching the live stream, you can use this to your advantage, too. See which artists made the first cut after the break.

Bootleg, Electro | The Temptations – Cloud Nine (FKJ Remix)

The Temptations X FKJ

Here’s a lil re interpretation of a classic mo town track by the Temptations, curtesy of FKJ. French Kiwi Juice has be doing his thang over there in the great city of Parîs for a while now, but this remix is just too funky to overlook. With its original bootleg over some bumpin’ kicks and groovy chords, this song will certainly strike those strings in your ears that will make you feel some type of way.

Hip-Hop, Indie, Videos | Times New Roman – Diamonds (Official Music Video)

Posted by on February 5, 2014

Some of you might remember Times New Roman from my interview with him a couple months prior to this post, and he’s back with some visuals for his banger. “Diamonds” off his “Demo” tape has caught attention from multiple blogs and it’s well deserved. With a little soul there, and a little hip hop here, and some dashes of indie and mo-town all in one, there’s no way TNR won’t strike your ear the right way. Help the one and only Mr. Bolton celebrate his first visual premiere by watching “Diamonds” and get your groove on to some good ass tunes.

Electronic, Videos | MØ x Diplo – XXX 88

Posted by on September 10, 2013

While certain big-name female celebrities continue to slowly chip away at the world’s image of a role model woman (not pointing any fingers this time), 2013 has fortunately reeled some incredibly talented female acts into the spotlight who go above and beyond to compensate for the wreckage. See: Banks, Jessie Ware, Charli XCX, Lorde, Aluna Francis, just to name a few. And adding to the list I present to you my latest female vocalist of interest, Danish electro-pop songstress MØ (pronounced “moo”). Take one part Scandinavian sweetheart, one part sultry temptress, top it off with a fat gold chain and a ponytail and you’ll get this bonafide badass singer. Check out the video premier of her latest track titled “XXX 88,” produced by the one and only Diplo and you’ll get a feel for what I mean. And if you still want mo’ MØ, keep an eye out for her EP and album release later this season.
