The Blancos are dealing with heartache, love, and everything in between, which is the inspiration behind their latest EP “Heartless Romantic” a mix of hip hop, grunge, blues and indie rock influenced records. If you’re in for a journey, I strongly advise you check out the whole album, as there’s something for everyone. My personal favorite off the EP are “She Calls It Love,” “Lemon Garden” and “Romantic.” Monday is coming to an end, and it’s about that time to call it day, so enjoy this refreshing sound, and have a great night! The Blancos from Brooklyn know how to make music, and that’s a fact, peep their record “Love’s Impossible,” some indie soul rock music to get you through this grey humid April afternoon. Obviously under the radar, my friend Scott hit me with 3 of their records, notably the one featured here, but make sure you check out “Lemon Garden,” and “Losing Sleep” both quality productions which explore the sample game, and capture that refreshing sound. I was also told that they have exciting news coming up, so keep an ear out for that. This is a must listen, and we’re still waiting on that download!
