Niles Hollowell-Dhar has nearly done it all as a musician. After making his debut as the front man of the indie dance group, The Cataracs, Hollowell-Dhar branched off and embarked on a solo electronic career under the moniker, KSHMR. Since the inception of his new identity, KSHMR has managed an unprecedented rise in popularity, thanks to collaborations with stars like Dillon Francis and Tiesto, the latter of whom delivered this spring’s anthem in “Secrets.” Now, KSHMR has unveiled his latest solo output, “JAMMU,” a track that clearly draws from his Indian inspirations. “JAMMU” is a chance for KSHMR to show off his raw production ability, as he blends big room sounds with South Asian inspired instrumentation and vocals, coming together to create a progressive anthem that will surely make the rounds this summer. “JAMMU” is out now via Beatport.
