Progressive House | Coldplay – Atlas (DallasK Remix)
Posted by Middy on December 25, 2013
Taken from the most recent edition of the Hunger Games soundtrack, Coldplay’s “Atlas” has been incredibly successful on its own and as a remixed entity by producers everywhere. The latest to use Chris Martin’s vocals and the band’s instrumentation is American producer, DallasK, who adds the melodic touch we have seen from him in his Kindergarten Recordings tracks like “Vice” and “Alienz” that have been some of my favorites from his back catalog. It’s the season for free downloads so grab this one for free below.

Electro-House | Wolfgang Garnter – Piranha

Consistently one of the most innovative minds in electro house, and in dance music in general, Wolfgang Gartner has been a pioneer from the moment he started. Capping off another great year that has seen the resurgence of his label, Kindergarten Recordings, the cat loving American releases his new single “Piranha”. “Piranha” has the unique electro sound you want from Wolfgang, with a foreboding synth lead, a punchy bass line and glitchy, melodic excellence. Like a piranha, this track won’t just come after you once, but rather slowly beat you into submission with each subtle element over the entire duration of the song.

Electro-House | DallasK – Vice

21 year old Orlando native, DallasK, flexes his production muscles again with his debut on Wolfgang Gartner led Kindergarten Recordings, “Vice”. The former DEFEP member and remix specialist releases a rare single in “Vice” that combines both big room elements and grungy electro house with driving synth chords and well placed electro growls with subtle piano driven builds. DallasK has long been viewed as one the more promising young US talents and “Vice” shows that his potential and hype are more than warranted.

Electro-House | Tom Staar – Cheyenne

Tom Staar continues his red hot second half of 2012, following his most recent remix with Kryder of “Don’t You Worry Child” with “Cheyenne” (an ode to Wyoming maybe?). The track combines the unique percussion heavy style he has championed in his previous remixes with pulsing electro stabs. Following up Popeska’s “Karameter” EP, the Wolfgang Garnter headed Kindergarten Recordings has seen a mini revival lately and should continue to release inventive tracks into the future.

Progressive House | Wolfgang Gartner – Redline

The US house master, Wolfgang Gartner is back with another massive single coming off of his very successful single “There And Back” and his collaboration with Tiesto “We Own The Night“. This single is more melodic than his previous works, showing a more progressive side of his sound emphasizing the melodic chord progressions. This is the latest release on Wolfgang Gartner’s label Kindergarten Recordings, setting the bar very high with a well crafted, addictive melody and a pounding bass line that create this euphoric track that will have you hitting repeat over and over.
