The homie SoulJAH sent over this track “BlastPhaMe” where he raps over Schoolboy Q’s “Grooveline” in anticipation for the release of his debut mixtape “JahBless” out November 28. JAH’s been featuring on a few tracks with the NewLA crew, notably on one of my favorite tracks off Joe Cool’s latest mixtape Driver’s Ed “My Word.” At the look of things the boys from Louisiana are about to be a problem, they always deliver with bars that stand out and rap with meaning. Shout out to Louisiana, this is a must listen!

Louisiana MC Christian’Dee make his debut on FNT with “Thurzdey” produced by Canis Major. I’ve been following this MC since I was introduced to the NWLA movement by the homie Joe Cool.  One track I fux with hard from Christian is a video he dropped a couple months back “Yo Rappin Ass” I’m not sure if “Thurzdey” will end up on his project “Subtle Weekends,” due for Winter release, but either way Christian’ smart but real rap is refreshing, and exactly what the game’s been missing. If you’re a fan of Logic, Devin Miles or Tayiib Ali, you’re going to like Christian’Dee. Stream this record, and get familiar with the movement!  Must Listen!
