Medasin had a breakout year in 2018 with remixes of Post Malone and Khalid as well as his debut project Irene. Now the talented young musician is back with his first offering of 2019 Mr. Skitters. The song is an ambient journey through what feels like an underwater cave system. It’s the perfect track to sip your coffee to this morning. Listen to it above and grab your copy here.

The beatsmith formally known as Sean Kongery is back. This time, the LA up and comer teams up with fellow Cali-vocalist Elias to create a smooth, soothing -I have just coined the word smoothing as an adjective for this song- ballad. In-house video team, Lake Effect Films, has yet again out done himself and absolutely blows me away with the story he managed to create behind the song.
Sean is soon to be at the key player in pop production, so it’ll be exciting to see the future singles as well as placements he’ll be getting these next couple months. For the time being, enjoy the song and video!
Also, the sampling of “Mr. Sandman” in the first few seconds of the visual is a fantastic touch.

Lucas G is a producer based out of Chicago that’s been throwing down some super dope instrumentals lately. EavesDrop is one of my favorites but most of his music is perfect for all you aspiring rappers out there. A great example of what artists can do with his productions is Valentino’s ‘Blues’, produced by Lucas G. With a perfect blend of hi-hats, bass, and incorporation of the sample, there’s no way your ears won’t fall for this instrumental.
