Dubstep, Mashups | Rusko & Rihanna?, 5 & A Dime – Rollin Joints

I saw this live and my first instinct on the singer was Rihanna, which Rusko later confirms in the video. I guess dubstep is going further into mainstream with Britney doing her thing and now Rihanna doing a song with Rusko. This song isn’t exceptional or at least from the clip that Rusko played, which was most likely changed quite a bit so that he didn’t get in a lot trouble with the label. There is no other information about this song then what he said at the show, or maybe he said something at the Mass show, but either way it is a song to look forward to. Here is the latest 5 & A Dime single he released today. It uses the instrumentals from the best remix of the year, Alesso’s Remix of Pressure, and Moguai’s Remix of Bangduck, with the acapellas from Rolling in the Deep, In My Head, and Walking On A Dream. The instrumentals work quite well flowing over each other and the vocals top it off for a back to school banger.

We have known of this project that has been rumored to be Porter Robinson and Skrillex, but most signs point to this being the new name of Pance Party. It has been so secret that it almost seemed too good to be true. Their twitter is private, their facebook gives little to no information and everything about this project has been shrouded in speculation and secrecy. The album preview is absolutely absurd and though the video has been out a while, you can see why people have wanted them to start releasing songs. I don’t know how they kept wraps on this but this song is fire. This song is a great debut for the group and I am excited for what is to come from them.

Thought that’d be the last time you saw the sensation that is De-Lor on FreshNewTracks? Nah, think again. If you haven’t noticed, we’re pretty good at sizing up talent quickly. (See Collin McLoughlin) We’re still waiting on a big label to call and hire us already, but I digress.
That being said, De-Lor offers two new tracks. The first, “Renegade” which is a smooth r&b/electro track accompanied by the “making of” visuals above. The second track, “You Got It All” is definitely a banger for your Friday night. Whether you’re into baby making music or you’re wanting to rage, De-Lor has you covered. Straight up Girl Fire BANGER right here (partially because the beginning sounds like a Bieber track). Tune In Crew does a number on this Katy Perry “throw back”, I’m pretty sure this is my favorite remix although Kaskade and Liam Keegan give it a seriously close run for the money (maybe Kaskade takes the money here…). And I know you’ve seen one too many “Rolling In the Deep” remixes, especially out of Biglife, but humor me and give this one an ear – it just solidifies Tune In Crew’s bulletproof remixing swagger. Gigamesh took the scene by storm with his 2009 remix of Mike Posner’s hit “Cooler Than Me”. Ironically, Gigamesh’s touch made it so much cooler than the original that it stole most airwaves. Although Gigamesh slipped out of the limelight, he’s still been producing some epic remixes like the two below (plus the previously posted bangers). Well I know what I’ll be listening to on the beach tomorrow (all of our Dewey Beach fans stand up). New Linen’s latest work is arguable their best. I can definitely dig their vibe, the beat matched by the smooth guitar chords works perfectly with their verses.
