Events | Disclosure’s Massive Wild Life NYE
Posted by Middy on October 10, 2014
You have probably seen the headlines for this, but here is your reminder. Tickets are on sale in less than an hour for possibly the grooviest and deepest NYE celebration the world will see. Disclosure will be headlining the event under the umbrella of their “Wild Life” party, but they will be bringing in tow, since it is New York City, a whole bunch of additional headliners in Claude von Stroke, Ten Walls and Dusky, with hot and comers Isaac Tichauer and Kyle Hall also joining the bill. Besides a festival bill, you will be hard pressed to find something as good as this for a one night only event on one stage. Grab your tickets below and make sure you are at Pier 94 on NYE for this funky fun.
Events | Full Lineup Revealed for Badlands Music Festival
Posted by Mel on June 9, 2014
Western Canada has kept up with the rise of EDM with a number of high profile shows and events over the past few years and Badlands Music Festival has been among those leading the way. Kaskade, Afrojack and Steve Aoki helped inaugurate the event last year and with this years lineup now fully revealed, it’s sure to be a good time once again. Dada Life, Duck Sauce, The Bloody Beetroots and Borgore are just a few of those on the lineup. In addition to those headliners, they are also many other great artists such as GTA and, as always, my tight, tight bros, The Chainsmokers. If you would like to know how Drew and Alex seduce women or their thoughts on glory holes, then check out the interview I did with them. If you are in Calgary on July 4th to the 6th and enjoy dance music, then join me at Badlands. Full lineup in the video above and go here to buy tickets.
Events | Five Things We Can’t Wait For At Electric Zoo 2013
Posted by Spice on August 8, 2013
Summer is flying by, which is bittersweet on one hand but totally amazing on the other. Why? Because it means that we’re getting closer and closer to Electric Zoo’s blowout fifth year. If you’re not up on your EZoo life, check out our official recap video from last year and see what you missed. Yeah — it was pretty killer. Fortunately, this year is already shaping up to be bigger and better than ever for many reasons, not least of which are:
1) Two mainstages (count ’em, TWO) and an expanded festival site on Randall’s Island. More on that later.
2) A new 18 and up policy. Sorry, youths (#YOUTHS) of the world — I’m too old for your shenanigans and look forward to mingling with an older and wiser crowd. *Wheezes; testily gestures for you to GET OFF MY LAWN.*
3) A totally killer lineup — which is par for the course by EZoo’s standards. There’s lots to be excited about here, but we’ve come up with five things that we’re especially stoked for. Check ’em out after the jump.
