Dzeko & Torres have been busy this year, with remixes for Steve Aoki and Kryder as well a slew of originals, including “Hurricane“, set for release this Monday. The Dirty Dutch leader has been quieter on the release front except for a collab out of left field with Slash. This collaboration with Canadian duo Dzeko & Torres, brings both of their sounds into the 2013 summer festival season starting with a big room build and a powerful minimal onslaught that will make this popular in many DJ sets.

After venturing off a bit into the grittier electro stuff, Dzeko & Torres return to their early progressive roots with their latest single. “Hurricane” grabs your attention with the superb vocals of Sarah McLeod before it hits you with its catchy rolling melody that takes you through the build and into the drop. Coming off the release of “AMP” & their “Bounced” remix, Dzeko & Torres tab fellow Toronto duo Crossways to create “Togi”, out now on Monstercat Recordings who is coming off of the successful release and still highly charted “Heartbeat” from Vicetone & Collin McLoughlin. Using a vocal sample from Led Zeppelin’s “Immigrant song” and a driving, minimal percussive drop, “Togi” sets itself up as a perfect weapon for any one of their WMC gigs. I have no idea what is going on with this video, but it is entertaining nonetheless.

It is Mardi Gras, so the weekend starts tonight if it hasn’t already. We start things off this week with the 7th episode of EPIC Radio from Eric Prydz who following up his surreal Essential Mix, holds nothing back with plenty of unreleased tracks. Pierce Fulton presents the eclectic “Get Weird” Mix in its 10th episode that features all exclusive edits and mashups that you don’t want to miss. Next up we have the 7th episode of the twice a month RAVE’N podcast from Dzeko & Torres that features a guest mix from Autoerotique and features unreleased tracks like “Together We Are” and “Hit It“. The Drop features much of the best releases from last week with a guest mix from Boris if you are into that type of house. After the jump we have mixes from The Bingo Players, Arty, a W&W guest mix for Hardwell and N3AKO.

In celebration of hitting 15,000 fans on Facebook, Canadian duo Dzeko & Torres have given away a free remix for Kryder’s recent single “Damagaed” and also have announced that they will be playing Tomorrowland, a major milestone for the duo who’s tour schedule has largely been confined to the their hometown of Toronto. The remix takes full advantage of UK singer Bo. Bruce’s emotive vocals and adds a grinding low end and a punchy bass line. Dzeko & Torres have have been hinting at US tour dates for the last few weeks, so be on the lookout for them as they venture south of the border.

We start things off with the 50th episode of the Drop and the week of guest mixes they had leading up to the big 50th episode. Outstanding mixes from Leon Bolier, Maor Levi, Gabriel & Dresden & Lazy Rich give you a variety of styles from trance to dubstep to hard hitting electro. Pierce Fulton gives us the 9th installment of his monthly “Get Weird” show on Sirius XM that spans all sorts of genres. Continuing the year end mix theme, Thomas Gold presents his take on 2012 with a special episode of his fanfare podcast, looking back on an outstanding year for the German Dj that includes a play of his remix of One Republic’s “Feel Again”. The 7th episode of EPIC Radio is must listen with a slew of Eric Prydz IDs and a new Eric Prydz dub of Jeremy Olander “Let Me Feel”.
