Progressive House | Loopers – Dealbreaker (Dyro Remix)

Posted by on December 16, 2012

Dyro has been on fire this year with one huge remix or single after another, though because he has released so many tracks he can be a bit hit or miss. He has developed a sound and stuck with it, so when you release as many tracks as he has, you have to make each one of them stand out and be unique from the rest. This remix of Loopers “Dealbreaker” keeps with Dyro’s tough electro sound adding a melodic twist from the slow, anticipatory build to the high energy drop. Dyro is finishing out the year strong, so expect more to come from the young Dutch talent in 2013 and beyond.

Dubstep | Ansol & Dyro – Top Of The World (Dyro Dubstep Rework)

Posted by on November 16, 2012

This caught me a little off guard today. This memorable house anthem from UMF this year by Ansol & Dyro that won everyone over during Afrojacks set, has been reworked by Dyro. It seems as though he has been rinsing this Dubstep rework he created in his sets. Wasn’t expecting this from a house producer, but he delivered a destructive remix to this great track. Brace your self because he is going to rock your speakers with his distorted growls accompanied by his appealing melodies. He almosts puts some of the dubstep producers today to shame with this one. Electro-House | Dada Life – Feed The Dada (Original + Dyro Mix)

Posted by on August 27, 2012

Dada Life provides us with what they have said to be the “biggest drop ever” in their latest single “Feed The Dada”, and while it is disputable whether or not this is the biggest drop ever, there is not denying the power in the song. The music video shows people’s uncontrollable urge to rage to this track, showing an almost religious devotion to the dada. The song is not for the lighthearted and with superb vocals bringing in the intense drop, it is the perfect single to welcome their album coming soon this fall. Rising dutch phenom, Dyro adds a little more bite to the track with grungier chords and a varying pitched synth line to create a remix that may be just as good or better than the original. Be sure to enter Dada Land this fall as they tour North America.

Electro-House | Ansol & Dyro – Top Of The World

Posted by on July 10, 2012

Finally after being premiered at Ultra by Wall Records boss Afrojack that left all who witnessed it with the same stunned reaction, the electro house track that has been a staple of sets of producers big and small has been released. I will not list the DJs who have supported this because it is too long, but this one has already been getting serious play at festivals and clubs around the world and will continue to do so throughout the summer. Dyro has been on fire this year with numerous massive tracks like “EMP”, his “Kontiki” remix, “Raid” and more. “Top Of The World” combines a fitting vocal with a melodic build and a hard drop of powerful saws and pounding bass that will get 60,000 people raging in unison.

Electro-House | Afrojack – Can’t Stop Me (The Remixes)

Posted by on June 26, 2012

The amazing remixes to Afrojack’s original featuring Shermanology “Can’t Stop Me” have finally been released. Containing two outstanding remixes from three top notch producers. Tietso taking a stab at his interpretation of the track on one remix and R3hab & Dyro smashing it with their heavy Electro on the other. Tiesto opted to take a more dance feel where he focused on keeping the dance beat present throughout instead of a heavy Electro drop, while R3hab and Dyro dove straight into the chainsaw madness and thumping Electro groove. It is tough to pick a favorite from these two, but if I had to I would have to go with R3hab & Dyro on this one. Grab both of these remixes off of Beatport HERE

Electro-House | Dyro – Paradox

Posted by on June 18, 2012

Dyro is growing in front of our eyes this year with productions such as “Raid”, “EMP“, “Saeta” his “Kontiki‘ remix and others. He has made his best productions with the help of others leading me to have lingering doubts about whether or not he could make his best original work on his own. “Paradox” just about quiets those doubts with his hard, growling electro sound and adds some layers of pitched synths to the break with adept key work and big room synths in the interlude giving an eerie feeling of anticipation of the imminent drop. Dyro’s much anticipated collaboration with Ansol “Top Of The World” is to be released July 9th so be on the look out for that as well.

Electro-House | R3hab – The Bottle Song Remixes + Dyro – Seata

This is a very impressive remix package because there aren’t any mediocre remixes, which is rare because there is usually one or two in a remix package of 4 or 5. Dyro provides the most heavily supported remix of the package with the subtle build and high energy drop of rising synths and thumping bass. The Darth & Vader mix, supported by Sander van Doorn, works on the build adding more of a progressive flare to it with added synth chords and a grungy low end synth drop with emotive key work over the top. Dannic rebuilds much more of the track, adding a bigger intro and synth chords to the build with a moving melody in the break. D-wayne’s remix may be weakest of the bunch, but it is still a strong remix supported by Pete Tong with much of the original build in tact and dutch house drop. Below is the Darth & Vader mix and after the jump are the Dannic & D-wayne remixes.
Also included is Dyro’s single “Saeta” he also released recently. It is what we have come to expect from him, though maybe a little less creative than his recent works “EMP” and “Raid” and his upcoming “Top Of The World”. It has the electro build and the modern talking drop that is somewhat getting abused now, but still in style and quite popular on dance floors around the world.
