Preview, Progressive House | DubVision – Redux (Preview)

Posted by on January 29, 2013

Coming off of their debut on Axtone records with their remix of Discopolis “Committed To Sparkle Motion“, the dutch duo make their return to Spinnin Records where they made their breakout with the single “All By Myself”. “Redux” follows the same grain as their previous tracks with festival sized drops and soaring melodies and though they may take some flack for not switching it up enough, their sound is so melodic and uplifting, it is just fine. Check back here on March 8th for the release.

Australian duo Denzal Park continue to show the diversity in their productions as they follow up songs in 2012 like “Scorpio” & “Amarok” and the mountain of remixes they manage to put out. “Yarl” combines a powerful acid infused lead, a melodic interlude with light dubstep influences and a thumping bass line that drives the acid lead. Denzal Park’s return to Fedde Le Grand’s Flamingo Records can be called nothing short then a success and “Yarl” is an outstanding start to 2013 for the habitually underrated duo.

DO SOMETHING

Progressive House | Jakob Liedholm & Tim Norell ft. Nick Nikon – Lights

Posted by on January 8, 2013

If you follow Jakob Liedholm on his socials you know he is a producing machine and previews new and upcoming tracks all the time. Since the 16 year old Swedish wunderkind just hit 7500 Facebook fans, he has decided to give away his collab with fellow Swede Tim Norell, utilizing vocals from Nick Nikon’s track “Club Lights”. The duo construct a slow soothing build, letting the borrowed vocals from Nick Nikon shine better then they did in the original, bringing to a climax of big room synths and subtle low end oscillations. With his release with Henrix & Zashanell “Close Your Eyes” set to be released soon & many more IDs in the pipeline, Jakob Leidholm is poised to have a stellar 2013.

Electro-House | Showtek & Bassjackers – Hey!

Posted by on December 31, 2012

Hardstyle turned electro house duo, Showtek and producer and Dj duo, Bassjackers, give us this heavy track that is prime for your NYE playlists. Just like Showtek’s previous productions this year with Tiesto, Hardwell and Justin Prime, this one goes HAM. This may not have the same power as “Cannonball“, but it shines like “Hell Yeah” and should be played as loud as possible late tonight.
