The Get Right Records single “Stay Young” by Silver Medallion has been buzzing on the internet for quite some time now and the long awaited video for the song just dropped today. With Silver Medallion’s great vocals and Dstar’s killer production, the song has been a favorite of mine for quite some time now and it was recently even spun by Chuckie himself on BBC Radio. As everyone heads back to school, make sure you add this to your party playlists. You only live once, so “stay young” while you can. House, Mainstream Remix | The Cataracs – All You (Dstar & Benzi Remix)

“All You” by The Cataracs is an odd track mostly because of the unnecessary addition of Waka Flocka Flame to it. It is clear that the strengths of the song lay in the choppy saxophone and 808s combined with the amazing voice of Becky Jean Williams on the hook. On Dstar and Benzi’s remix of the track, the two play to the strengths of the original with their straightforward club version of the track. The two highlight the amazing hook and cut down Waka’s part to just a few shouts over blazing synths and bass. Download the track for free below and become a fan of Dstar on Facebook.

It has been a minute since I’ve heard a mashup/bootleg using Empire of the Sun’s “Walking on a Dream”. There was a moment when you couldn’t browse the internet without hearing a new remix, mashup or a song sampling it, so when I first heard Dstar bootleg, I was a bit hesitant about it. Nevertheless, what I found was an amazing bootleg. Matthew LeFace, Matt Nash & Dave Silcox’s “King” is a banger in itself and the added vocals from Empire of the Sun take it to another level. This one is a must download.

For the next big single to be released on DJ Benzi’s Get Right Records comes Silver Medallion’s “Stay Young”, an addicting vocal house jam produced by Dstar (1/2 of Solidisco), that’s sure to be stuck in your heads all summer. “Stay Young” is the second single to be released via Get Right Records with the first being his popular hit “All I Ask” featuring Shwayze. The single will be released along with a full remix pack on July 10th on Beatport/iTunes and will include remixes from GTA and Udachi as well as the extended and instrumental versions of “Stay Young”.
