Progressive House | Australian Talent WILL K Unleashes Tribal House ‘Hakai’
Posted by VMan on May 16, 2016
Upcoming Australian talent WILL K is constantly evolving and improving as a DJ/producer. His 2016 exploits already include releases on Oxygen and Release Records, whilst officially remixing Flo Rida’s ‘Dirty Mind’. Now the whizz kid has just unleased ‘Hakai’ on Sander Van Doorn’s ‘Doorn Records imprint, which certainly packs a punch! Oozing tribal influences through drum rolls and an vocal chant within the break, this is a festival anthem in the making with support from artists including Axwell & Ingrosso, Martin Garrix, Steve Angello and many more!
Progressive House, Trance | Lush & Simon, Uforik – Hydrogen
Posted by Middy on October 22, 2014
Originally a “Demo Of The Week” on Hardwell on Air 153 called “Air” from Uforik, “Hydrogen” has now been repackaged with the skilled help of progressive starlets Lush & Simon. A global collab, bringing together Chinese newcomer Uforik and Italians Lush & Simon, this tune has the airy sound of its namesake. Sounding very similar to something from Audien’s back catalog, the blend of trance and progressive makes this tune a very easy-going, soothing progressive track that flows through the ears. Grab the tune now on Beatport courtesy of Doorn Records.

Electro-House | Lazy Rich – Brainfreeze
Posted by Middy on January 21, 2013
Lazy Rich much like Wolfgang Gartner, is revered by other Djs for the quality of the productions and “Brainfreeze” is a prime example of that. Lazy Rich contrasts melodic builds with gritty drops of grinding electro saws and powerful bass lines that make this one of the premier releases on Doorn Records in the past few months. With a collab on the way with Syn Cole, a remix for Wideboys and a single on Chris Lake led Rising Music set for release next month, Lazy Rich is wasting no time making his mark on 2013.

Progressive House | Inpetto – Shhhh! (Sander van Doorn Edit)

One of Sander van Doorn’s many IDs at Electric Zoo, “Shhhh!”, follows the rising trend of “Edits” by big name producers on tracks from smaller guys that help promote the song and also tweak it a little to make it just that much better. “Shhhh!”, the German brother duo’s follow up to “Yucassin” keeps much of the melodic, big room sound they have become known for, while adding grinding synths and thumping bass to the drop.

Progressive House | Inpetto – Yuccasin
Posted by Middy on July 2, 2012
Inpetto has quietly been putting out some top notch progressive house tracks for a while now, but has never really the recognition they deserve. I first heard “Yuccasin” on Arty’s 2gether We Are podcast (thank you again Arty) and was blown away at how melodic and uplifting the track was. This is one of those tracks that will force a smile onto your face as the melody builds with the varying drum pattern in the background into an anthemic drop of thumping bass, a driving clap and that sublime melody. Expect to hear this a few times this summer.
DJ-Set, Progressive House, Trance | Arty – Together We Are Ep #001 + Preview
Posted by Middy on June 26, 2012
Arty premiered his new weekly radio show on Saturday nights from 1am to 2am this past weekend and it may be early to say, but it looks like it could be one of the better weekly radio shows out there, or will quickly develop into one of them. The mix is better than most radio shows we are seeing from artists these days because not only does it keep the needless chatting down to a minimum and give us the most music possible, but it also has a different track list from the recycled track lists in mix shows we are seeing from prominent DJs. He plays a mixture of new and “old” tracks including upcoming tracks from Inpetto out July 2nd on Doorn Records and Redlight – Lost In Your Love, that have the chance to become very popular. The songs are just as good as your Beatport top 40, but they are just less known, showing that Arty not only is an incredible producer, but also has great taste and skill as a finder of quality music. Another indicator of the success of this radio show is the best pick in Rudimental’s DNB anthem “Feel The Love” that has been massively supported though it has not been released in the States, showing the completeness of the show. Tracklist for the show after the jump.
Another piece of big news coming out of Arty’s camp this week is that the ID (above) he premiered on New Years is going to be called “Together We Are” and will be released this summer. This song is incredible and will be one of the progressive anthem’s for the summer if it is released in time to get some serious festival work.
Progressive House | Eitro – True Story
Posted by Middy on May 21, 2012
There are just those songs that right from the first note forces a smile on your face with its uplifting, progressive melodies. It may not be something extraordinarily new or groundbreaking, but those who find a way to create this type of sound with some sort of variation strike deep into the heart of the modern EDM conscience. Eitro, recently signed to Sander van Doorn led Doorn records, has done just that with his latest track “True Story”. It gives us that style with uplifting piano melodies accompanied by subtle synth layers and a steady bass line, moving with the melody. Already supported by Sander van Doorn, Thomas Gold, Swanky Tunes and many more, this is a track you will not want to miss out on.

Also included is a really solid progressive remix of Lana Del Ray’s “Summertime Sadness” from Norwegian producer Bill Wants.
