There are no words to describe just how mindblowingly good this song is. “Tokyo By Night” has been floating around the internet for close to three years, in classic Axwell fashion, but now you can buy it on Beatport. It rivals “Payback” for the tune of the year and as of now, a race that should go neck and neck well into the summer. This is about as close as you get to perfection. The only way this doesn’t go Beatport number one is if Dimitri Vegas & Like buy enough “Tremor” enough to keep it at the top.

When Martin Solveig teamed up with The Cataracs to release “Hey Now” it was a Pop / Top 40 tune that would be difficult to receive club / festival support. DOSVEC just took care of that by mashing it up with “Momentum” (Michael Calfan Mix) – The tune now has a great Progressive House feel that is sure to satisfy any EDM fanatic –

There is a decent chance by now that you have heard this mashup by Swedish duo Daleri of the some of the latest hits sweeping festival main stages and gracing the top of the Beatport charts. Upon first listen you may think, well wow isn’t this a convenient little minute of noise that takes out all of those pesky and boring builds and is just straight huge, dope banger anthem drops. But when you actually listen, you see just how everything sounds the same.

One of the most sought after IDs from Tomorrowland 2012, the aptly named “Mammoth” from Belgian duo Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike with the help of German producing star Moguai is finally out. Moguai has been a little silent lately on the production front, while Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike have been releasing a spree high powered, high energy tracks to start the year. However this one is in a class of its own when it comes to 2013 releases from the 3 of them. “Mammoth” relishes in blistering synth chords, a pitched lead and a grinding low end that gives this melodic yet tough track the power it needs throughout. Already seeing support from just about all of the top Djs, look for “Mammoth” to be among of the first contenders for one the the best tracks in 2013.

Michael Calfan follows up his heavily supported “She Wolf” remix with his long awaited remix of Belgian’s Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike & Regi’s “Momentum“. Michael Calfan adds his progressive flare to this already joyous track by keeping much of the build but adding onto the drop with a piano top line and a more intricate bass line. It is great to see this young Frenchman do so well with his remixes, though he has not been able to make a single with the quality as “Resurrection“, so hopefully we will get that soon. Remixes from Clockwork and Mystique and Amro take an edgier approach to the track with some grungier chords and more of an electro based feel.
