Last year, TomorrowWorld drummed up anticipation for the festival by releasing a stellar guest mix each week as a part of their “Artists of Tomorrow” mix series. Emerging artists at the time like Oliver Heldens, Milo & Otis, Lane 8, and others all used their mixes as opportunities to showcase their varied styles, and the “Artists of Tomorrow” series was one of the best things to come out of the festival last year. This year, TomorrowWorld tabbed Shaq AKA DJ Diesel for the first mix of the year, and now, Benny Benassi has taken the decks to deliver an hour-long history lesson on house music. On his mix, the international tastemaker has selected a diverse assortment house cuts ranging from deep, to tech, to electro, and anything in between. Icona Pop singles have been getting some huge remixes lately. The “All Night” remix package tabbed the likes of Kyrder, Cash Cash & CID for remixes, but Atlantic Records goes even bigger on this batch of remixes for “Just Another Night”. The Swedish recently risen stars grab a whole host of big names from across the dance music spectrum to take full advantage of their very remixable vocals.
Kicking things off comes Dubvision who add their soaring progressive sound, while Marcus Schossow mold it into a playful housey tune. For a remix package this size, it would not be complete without a few trap heaters and Faustix & Imanos & Alex Young provide those.

On the heals of the incredible successful single from Vicetone “Tremble“, Nicky Romero’s Protocol Recordings tries to replicate that with another single “Prototype”, from returning Dutchman, Don Diablo and CID. First premiered at Tomorrowland (Check Guetta’s facial expressions, priceless), the track is a grungy electro fireball, with a ting of acid to give it some extra grit. It has already seen support from the likes of Pete Tong, Baguetta, W&W, Afrojack and many more, so don’t sleep on this one.

The latest from Nicky Romero’s Protocol Recordings, Dutch producer Don Diablo tabs rising pop singers, Alex Clare and Kelis to lay down some great vocals alongside his bouncy, booming instrumental, with CID helping on the rework. Are the vocals a little cheesy, yes, but they are really catchy and will get stuck in your head. After a decade-long career plugging away in relative unknown of the worldwide audience, Don Diablo is making his presence not only with this track, but also his upcoming single on Axtone “Starlight (You Could Be Mine)”. There is a trap VIP mix of this track set for release some time soon on Sony.
