NGHTMRE, who you know is trill as f because he dropped the “i” and “a” in nightmare, has taken on Charlie Darker’s recent single “Guns For Hire”. NGHTMRE keeps the joyful lead from the original and plays with the drop elements, switching up the tempo and adding his own trapped out twist. All you have to do to grab the track is head to his Facebook page and follow him on Instagram which is probably filled with trill stuff like guns, gold chains, pics of him ghost riding whips and all sorts of other stuff.

FNT favorite and Brooklynite, Pierce Fulton has neglected his duties to get weird lately, though I did run into him in the crowd at that free Zedd show in June. Open bar = getting weird, so you get a pass Pierce. This episode contains some the latest from his buddies like Charlie Darker, Norin & Rad and Botnek, with some exclusive new bootlegs from Pierce and the Flume remix of Disclosure’s “You & Me”. Canadian producer, Charlie Darker has been slowly rising in fame and stature since he was taken under the wing of Wolfgang Gartner last year with his “Atlantic / Pacific” EP signed to Kindergarten Records. He has been busy releasing a slew of remixes and originals since then, padding a growing discography, but few compare to what he conjured up here.
Charlie Darker keeps the “alarm” sound from the original, while adding a driving low end, to give the track the power and stamina that it lacked originally. This remix saw its fair share of plays during WMC and has been heavily supported by Hardwell. This remix has already seen its fair share of support, but look for that to increase this summer. The remix will also be featured on Hardwell’s Revealed Records 4 Compilation, set to release June 21st.

It is Mardi Gras, so the weekend starts tonight if it hasn’t already. We start things off this week with the 7th episode of EPIC Radio from Eric Prydz who following up his surreal Essential Mix, holds nothing back with plenty of unreleased tracks. Pierce Fulton presents the eclectic “Get Weird” Mix in its 10th episode that features all exclusive edits and mashups that you don’t want to miss. Next up we have the 7th episode of the twice a month RAVE’N podcast from Dzeko & Torres that features a guest mix from Autoerotique and features unreleased tracks like “Together We Are” and “Hit It“. The Drop features much of the best releases from last week with a guest mix from Boris if you are into that type of house. Canadian producer, Charlie Darker released his debut Kindergartern Records EP “Atlantic / Pacific” this past week following up previous efforts this year on Dim Mak & Ministry of Sound. Embracing the more melodic side of dance music, “Pacific” provides smooth chords over a quick alternating bass line. “Atlantic” drives right into the heavier side of his sound with its grinding saws. Coming off of the Popeska EP and Tom Staar releases, Wolfgang Garter led Kindergarten Records is proving itself to be a label flush with up and coming talent.
