Events, Review | Fareoh returns to Santos Party House for a Special Hometown Set
Posted by Middy on December 20, 2012
I had been very excited to see Fareoh for a second time after his Halloween set with Adventure Club & Nero, especially in a club setting where he would be the headliner with more time to craft the ideal Fareoh set. I got to the venue around 11:45 and the place was largely empty as you would expect in a New York City nightclub, with a few groups dancing on their own to the soulful tech grooves of the opening DJ. As time progressed from midnight on, the crowd started to fill in, many wearing santa hats and costumes because of Santacon that day. Fareoh was late getting to the venue and this threw off the opener who reverted to some safer, commercial plays a little after 1am as the venue was getting very full.
At around 1:30, Ian Spurrier, better known by his stage personna, Fareoh, arrived at the venue and wasted no time getting right into it. The venue itself has a very unique charm and style, as it does not go for the big LED screen or the big laser displays, but rather puts the DJ booth front and center in the middle of the crowd and allows for a more intimate setting between the DJ and the audience who surround the booth on all sides. Fareoh, playing to a packed club of people dressed in clothing ranging from full on Santa costumes, to your usual clubbing attire, to the guy in a LED suit (way to be), wasted no time making sure his presence was known on the decks taking the lead with a big room, bootleg heavy set.
Dubstep, Mashups | KOAN Sound vs. Will Smith – Sly Fox of Bel Air (James Scott Bootleg)
Posted by Spice on November 30, 2012
Happy Friday FNT nation. I don’t normally fool around with mashups but this one is too good to pass up. For maximum fun tonight, treat your friends to this sweet bootleg that mashes KOAN Sound’s “Sly Fox” with the legendary anthem that is the Fresh Prince of Bel Air theme. Skrillex has been known to toy with Will Smith’s verse in his live sets, but he hasn’t thought of this particular combination — “Sly Fox” is the perfect swingy backdrop for this 90’s classic. For more tunes, check out James Scott’s Soundcloud.
Bootleg | Kap Slap – Where’s Spectrum (ft. Rihanna, Zedd, Matthew Koma)
Posted by Juicebox on November 21, 2012
Rumor has it, this will be one of the last releases before Kap Slap releases his huge 17+ track mixtape. Kap Slap perfectly blends Rihanna’s vocals over Zedd’s international hit, “Spectrum” which comes together to create a typical 5 star bootleg from Kap Slap. Download the track and keep your eyes peeled for the official release!
Bootleg | Kap Slap – Raging Silhouettes (ft. Avicii, Ralvero)

Kap Slap is back this week with a euphoric bootleg that seamlessly flow together all too well. The track transitions to the uplifting melodies from none other than Avicii, straight into the heavy synths from Ralvero overall creating quite the bootleg. WIth “Raging Silhouettes” being the 5th installment of Kap Slap’s releases, expect the official mixtape release in the next couple of weeks. Incase you missed last week’s release, make sure you check it out below.
Dubstep, Electro | Kanye West & Jay Z – Ni**az in Paris’ (Cazzette Bootleg)

The wait is over! Finally we get to get our hands on the long awaited bootleg from Cazzette of Kanye West & Jay Z’s, Ni**az in Paris’. This track was one of the big highlights to this years UMF, being played by almost all the producers and DJ’s attending. These guys were probably one of the main catalyst to the remixes that started flooding through of the track back a few months ago. Either way they take this hip-hop track and mash together some heavy Dubstep and Electro sounds to create a massive drop for this track. Grab the FREE DOWNLOAD HERE.
Electro | Kap Slap – Two Million Atoms Raging (ft. Avicii, Knife Party, Ryan Tedder)
Posted by Juicebox on October 10, 2012
Just in time for the Halloween, the one day holiday we use as an excuse for a month long of partying, Kap Slap has dropped the first single off his tremendously successful Back to School Mix. The track features a nice blend of genres that accumulate to create a much heavier bootleg than usual from Kap Slap. The visuals to go with the track are almost even better than the song itself…regardless, the track is ridiculous and a must have.
Trance | Tritonal vs Ost & Meyer – Broken Antalya (Tritonal Mashup)
Posted by Spice on September 20, 2012
Hard-hitting trance up-and-comers Tritonal bring us an awesome mashup they recently put together, which weaves together “Broken Down” from their artist album Piercing the Quiet with Ost & Meyer’s “Antalya.” The Austin-based duo has been responsible for some of the best trance in the game of late, so it’s no surprise that when they dropped this bootleg for the first time at Privilege Ibiza they got a huge response from the crowd. And it’s easy to see why; with big, bright chords, smooth builds, and beautiful vocals courtesy of Meredith Call, this track is pure trance bliss. Listen and get the free DL below.
