Progressive House | Project 46 ft. Matthew Steeper – No One (Marcus Santoro Bootleg)
Posted by Mel on September 2, 2013
Just in time for the release of his second single on Neon Records, Marcus Santoro is back with another great bootleg that he is giving away for free. His previous bootleg of their early hit “Feel The Fire” was the first work I heard of his so it was of no surprise when I saw he remixed another track of theirs. In his typical fashion, he kept a portion of the original intact by retaining some of the original chords, but also added his own touch of large sounds and a nice bass during the drop to make it uniquely his.
Here’s a preview of his new single released today in collaboration with Apocalypto. Not really my thing, but maybe you’ll find a liking to it.

Progressive House | Lana Del Rey – Young And Beautiful (Kaskade Mix)

Kaskade is back with KMM, and he is back with a vengeance. Instead of rehashing an old remix, or giving out a bootleg he has been using in his sets, he is now releasing his highly sought after remix of Lana Del Rey “Young And Beautiful” that he has been finishing his sets with. Now that this has been released for free, it is the waiting game to see what happens with the Cedric Gervais remix and the stunning Myon & Shane 54 Summer Of Love Mix, which may the best of them all.

Mashups | Trademark – Connect (Madeon x Timeflies x Ke$ha x Dada Life)

Trademark just released what might be my favorite bootleg ever. The Timeflies “I Choose U” vocal matched with Madeon’s latest single, “Technicolor” couldn’t have been a better fit, listen to what he did with the chorus, absolutely incredible.
Electro-House | DallasK – Heaven

Having finally hit 20,000 Facebook fans, as promised, DallasK has released his previously previewed single “Heaven” as a free download. Free releases for social media milestones tend to be token gifts of gratitude, whether it is a live set, a bootleg pack or a re-release of something old. Rarely do you get something good for free and that is exactly what DallasK has done here with “Heaven“. The track expertly samples The Killers “Somebody Told Me”, crafting a sturdy bass line and grungy electro, adding pitched chords as the track progresses for additional complexity.

Trademark hits us with his first installment of “Trademark Tuesdays” with an absolute heater featuring quite an eclectic group of artists. Each Tuesday, Trademark will be releasing a new bootleg building up to the release of his final EP. Trademark has really impressed us recently with the caliber & consistency of his releases, this one is really goes to show why.
Trance | Dash Berlin vs. Band Of Horses – The Funeral (Dash Berlin Bootleg)
Posted by Middy on June 20, 2013
The wait is over. The thirst has been real by not only in the trance community, but the entire dance music community for this magical bootleg from Dash Berlin. What makes it even better is that it is a free download. Finally the trance collective known as Dash Berlin have released their bootleg of Band Of Horses’ “The Funeral”. This track has been a staple of not only Dash Berlin’s sets for close to 2 years now, but also many other trance DJs like Armin van Buuren. It combines the uplifting, progressive trance sensitibilites of Dash Berlin’s two producers with the emotive, soothing rock qualities of the original, making good use of the Ben Bridwell’s vocals and an easy guitar melody, with euphoric chords and key play from Dash Berlin. Grab the free download below because you would be insane not to.
Progressive House | De’lacy – Hideaway (Disfunktion Bootleg)

In celebration of 6k likes on facebook, Dutch duo Disfunktion are giving away their latest bootleg for free. One thing I like about these guys in particular is the fact that they almost exclusively remix older and somewhat obscure tracks. They provide a unique energy in their productions so you can always tell when you’re listening to a Disfunktion song.
