Perfect track to drop on mashup Monday. This time Yoni has included the likes of Ellie Goulding, LMFAO, and Katy Perry (amongst others) to create a party banger. EarthMoonEarth lays down remixes to some gnarly tracks including two of my favorite summer jams by Phoenix. There are some tracks like Fences and 1901 that just never get old no matter how many synth face-lifts and incisions they receive. I saw Above & Beyond on Saturday night and it absolutely blew my mind, they were just unreal. If you have a chance to see them make sure you do because it is a show you won’t forget. Here is the bonus song that they released for free from their Group Therapy Hub. It is a vocal mix of Hope from Tri-State.

Here is the absolutely massive remix of the Sandy Vee produced Nobody Loves Me by Bella. Hardwell puts his spin on this and makes it incredible and a must have. He even adds a little surprise for you guys in the middle.

Hopefully some of you enjoyed the tracks I posted a little earlier by Strange Talk. Well if you didn’t dont fret because these remixes will most likely have a wider appeal to the FNT crowd. If you like Phoenix, you’ll like this. Both of these remixes spice things up a bit, making it more dancey. The Lightwaves version is slightly softer (which I prefer) than the Vanguard’s rougher edged remix (people who like Mach’s tracks will dig this one).

Above are the visuals to the Choppa Choppa Down Remix. I’ve got to be honest, I’m not wild about this track – it lacks the catchy quality that most Rick Ross and Khalifa songs possess (especially their most recent mainstream projects). However, I rarely pass on the visuals to these artists tracks. Rick Ross doesn’t do much for me here (especially since he needs to upgrade his Florida house already in light of his massive success over the last year) but Khalifa seems to save the day here. I’ve thrown in some other HIp-Hop tracks below that Cstan missed (or most likely skipped) but since they include names like Meek Mill and Gorilla Zoe, I had to post them up.

At first, the mashes that included several songs rather than the traditional 1 v 1 setup threw me off – I thought it was too much packed into one beat. However, artists like Yoni, Dj Dibella, 5 & A Dime, and Kap Slap have swayed my opinion with their recent works. Yoni’s “Turns To Gold” blends tracks like Deadmau5’s Raise Your Weapon with Goulding’s Lights and Wynter Gordon’s Dirty Talk. Normally, I can discern what will work based on the 1 v 1 titles, but I just have to take a leap of faith with these multi-tracked songs. For all you conventionalists who are still warming up to this sound, check out the bonus tracks by Medium Sized Jeff and Tommy T.

I know I’ve been throwing several Beautiful People remixes at you but I just couldn’t pass this one up. It features a calm “progressivey” feel that’s actually a pretty delightful change up from the usual sounds artists are using to switch this track up with. In case you’re bored with this track, I’ve thrown in Overwork’s latest project as a bonus. Per his normal style, this track has some mildly heavy spots but also some softer spots and of course it sports a nice buildup and drop.
