Progressive House | Danny Avila – Breaking Your Fall
Posted by Middy on November 13, 2012
The name Danny Avila seems to be everywhere these days. Playing gigs all over world, opening for some of the biggest names in the industry, his cover mount cd for DJ Mag, getting support from Tiesto, Pete Tong among others, the hype surrounding this kid is outrageous. With this, it is time for the 17 year old Spaniard, who with Julian Jordan and Martin Garrix could start a boy band DJ group, to deliver and “Breaking Your Fall” is an excellent way to start. Danny Avila skillfully assembles an energetic, uplifting melody with blissful chords, layering over it a soulful vocal topline, bringing together Danny Avila’s superb first effort on Big Beat Records.

Progressive House | Deniz Koyu feat. Wynter Gordon – Follow You

Finally after probably a year since its first play by Deniz Koyu, we finally have his massive vocal track with Wynter Gordon “Follow You”. It may not be as unique as Bong, Tung or his Dangerous remix, but it is still a great track with Wynter Gordon’s stellar vocals and Deniz Koyu’s gorgeous melodies with the growling undercurrent and quick, playful arp, showing his mastery as a producer. He is one of the most skilled producers out there and “Follow Me” is yet another example of that. Here is a note he made a while back that may have slipped under the radar for some about producing, mastering etc that should help you producers if you haven’t seen it already.
