Hip-Hop | H.A.M (Travis Barker Remix), & Wiz Khalifa | Hip-Hop

Posted by on February 9, 2011

This song is off Travis Barker’s up coming mixtape, Let the Drummer Get Wicked. The drums that Travis added really give this song the aggressive feel that just wasn’t there in the original version. Below is some new material from two of my favorite freshman rappers, Wiz and CyHi Da Prynce. Check it out.

There is an intro for this song, so skip to :20 for the actual track.

I know some of you are fans of Cam Meekins, so here is a single off his up coming mixtape, 1993.

Hip-Hop | HIP-HOP | Eminem, Lloyd, Wale, and JaysWork

Above: J Cole talks about Jay-Z rejecting his CD, OUCH. Below: Eminem unrolls yet another record on us and while I’m not feeling this one as much as some of his other works, it definitely earned a spot in my iTunes library. I’m hearing a lot of chatter out there regarding Em’s latest collab with Dre and Jay-Z. In fact it seems as though mostly everyone’s trying to figure out how Ca$his made it onto the allstar track, “Syllables”. The Shady Records artist discusses recording the track back in 2007 in a recent interview with Vibe Magazine commenting, “‘Syllables’ was cut a couple of years ago…I think it was going to be for one of Em’s albums or Detox.” Is he insinuating that both of those are history aka Detox isn’t happening? He better not be. Ca$his claims “I was more so excited than intimidated because I already had held my own with Em, and I think they believed in me this time. After I kicked my verse, Em, Dre, and 50 all said it was dope. That was the cosign I needed. I learned more from that session than any other before that.” Read the full post here.

Hip-Hop, Videos | Collin McLoughlin Playing Lolipop x Whatever You Like

I can’t say enough about this guy. A few days ago, I sat down and watched this video. After watching the first video, I went on to listen, for literally hours, every video of his on youtube. I was completely blown away. From my perspective, he has one of the richest voices I’ve ever heard. What I love about Collin’s music is that he incorporates hip-hop lyrics with an acoustic sound. He truly makes it all his own. For more information on Collin, check him out here. Below, I included some additional videos for you to check out.
