Hip-Hop, Mixtapes | OCD: Moosh & Twist – The Vestibule (Mixtape)

Very impressive tape from Moosh & Twist. The Philly duo just dropped this today, and man is it a good one. Even though it’s short, Moosh and Twist bring the fire on every single song. The tape is filled with more laid back beats. I’m expecting big things from these guys, especially with stuff like this. Hit them up on Facebook and enjoy the tape.

Hip-Hop, Mixtapes | Quiet Storm – Name In Lights

Great beats, a good flow, and solid lyrics always equal a quality mixtape. Suffolk County native, Quiet Storm, gives us that recipe in his new mixtape, Name In Lights. The tape offers great variety with upbeat songs like “Rollin” and “La La La” but then changes and gives a chill laid back beats with ones such as “Good Days” and “Live it Up”. He even goes over Mac’s la la la from Mac’s KIDS mixtape. Overall a quality mixtape that you should definitely grab and look for more good things to come from Quiet Storm. In the meantime hit him up on Twitter and like his Facebook page.

Hip-Hop | Shwayze and Cisco Adler – “The W’s” EP | FEEL GOOD MUSIC
Posted by BIGLIFE on February 2, 2011
I absolutely love this EP – it’s a much needed change of pace for my iTunes library. No surprises here, this self proclaimed stoner/feel good music project definitely lives up to its album stamp and banana beat record production, but what would you expect from two California natives whose careers are adorned with some classic laid-back hits? Here’s what the official website reports:
“The W’s is taking it back to our first record, with all the tools and the knowledge of the future mixed with better weed and hotter women,” said rapper Shwayze.
The new music marks a return to the California stoner hop that made their first album SHWAYZE (#8 debut on Billboard Top 200) strike a generational chord. The laid back beats and sing-a-long melodies provided by producer/singer Cisco Adler are the perfect backdrop for Shwayze’s lazy day flow.
